Notebookcheck reported on October 6 that the controller’s earlier September preorder window had been missed. Neither source confirms a release date or international price.
What is the current preorder timeframe?
8BitDo’s official Arcade Controller Pro page says, “Available for pre-order starts in October.” That is a month-level window, not a specific date; the page does not state when in October preorders will open.
In its October 6, 2026 report, Notebookcheck said the previously expected September preorder window had been missed and the official page had changed to October.
What is known—and not known—about availability?
The current official page and Notebookcheck’s update do not establish an exact preorder day, a release or shipping date, or an international price. Notebookcheck’s suggested international price is an estimate, not an announced price. The available wording also does not confirm that the product can be preordered through any particular retailer.
