The project’s stated approach is to use browser-native APIs rather than a backend or build step. That is the author’s account—not an independent code audit or privacy test.
What is Antigravity Tools?
In a DEV Community post published August 7, 2026, Yuva describes Antigravity Tools as a set of 59 free developer utilities that run in a browser. The post frames the project as an experiment in building practical tools with vanilla JavaScript: “No React, no build step.” Read the author’s post on DEV Community.

The author says the project uses no Node.js backend, npm packages, bundler, Google Analytics, or cookies. They summarize the constraints as “zero dependencies, zero server, zero telemetry.” Those statements describe the intended architecture; they do not establish that every tool has been independently checked for network activity, data handling, or security.

What browser technologies does the author say the tools use?
Yuva names Web Crypto API, Canvas API, Web Audio API, and IndexedDB as the browser-native building blocks used by the collection. The post does not map each API to every tool, so it is best to treat this as a project-level description rather than a feature-by-feature technical specification.

Which tools does the post actually describe?
The article introduces eight tool categories but its accessible text names examples in only three. The examples below are the ones it provides; they are not a complete inventory of all 59 utilities.
Security and authentication
- JWT Inspector: The author says it decodes a JWT’s header and payload and checks expiry locally.
- RSA and ECC Key Generator: Described as generating 2048-bit key pairs through SubtleCrypto.
- Hash and Password Generator: Described as using Web Crypto for SHA-256 and SHA-512 hashing.
- PII Masker and Universal Encoder/Decoder: The encoder/decoder is said to support Base64, URL, Hex, HTML entities, and Unicode.
AI and prompting
- AI Token Counter: The author says it estimates costs across named model families; the post does not provide an accuracy evaluation.
- System Prompt Builder and Prompt Cost Trimmer.
- AI Text Humanizer.
Development and code
- JSON Workbench: Described as beautifying and validating JSON, and converting data into TypeScript, Python, and Go types.
- cURL Converter, Regex Tester, Cron Builder, and Git Command Helper.
What does “vanilla JavaScript” mean here?
In the author’s framing, it means building without React and without a build step, alongside the stated absence of third-party packages and a server. Browser APIs supply capabilities that might otherwise be delegated to a library or remote service. This is a description of this project’s design, not a general claim that all browser-based tools can avoid dependencies or backend processing.

What can—and can’t—be concluded from the account?
The post offers a useful architectural premise: small utilities can be assembled from browser capabilities without an application server, according to the author. But it does not establish how the 59 tools were prioritized, how well they perform, how many people use them, or what trade-offs emerged in development. Nor does client-side execution alone prove that a particular tool is private or secure; that would require examining the implementation and its behavior.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteThe distinction matters most for security-sensitive utilities. A browser-side JWT decoder can display a token’s contents, but decoding is not signature verification, and checking an expiry claim does not establish that a token is authentic. Likewise, describing a key generator or hash tool does not by itself establish the suitability of its output for a particular security use. The post presents feature descriptions, not an independent validation of their correctness.
There is also a limit to what the post reveals about the collection’s breadth: its heading promises eight categories, while the accessible article text shows only Security & Auth, AI & Prompting, and Dev & Code before linking to the project. The other five category names and the complete current tool list are not established by that text.
