For a dedicated screen, choose a compatible Echo Show; to use a television, add a compatible Fire TV device; for a portable option, use a compatible Fire tablet. Blink identifies these Alexa-enabled screen families for viewing camera feeds. The right choice depends on whether you want a standalone display, a TV you already own, or a screen you can carry—not on a verified ranking of five specific monitor models.
Which screens can display a Blink camera?
Blink lists Echo Show, Fire TV, and Fire Tablet devices as compatible Alexa screens. You can ask Alexa, “Show [camera name],” to start a live view on a compatible device. Blink’s Alexa live-view instructions describe this as an on-demand session, not an always-on surveillance display.

A generic computer monitor or an arbitrary smart TV is not identified as a directly compatible Alexa screen in Blink’s guidance. For a television, the supported route described by Blink is a compatible Fire TV device connected to the TV; do not assume a TV’s built-in smart features alone are sufficient. Blink’s compatibility guidance covers device families, not every model or generation.

How to choose the right setup
Choose Echo Show for a standalone display
An Echo Show is the clearest fit if you want an Alexa display that does not depend on turning on a television. For a multi-camera view, Blink specifically names Echo Show 8, 10, and 15, with at least two cameras; that split-screen feature is described as currently available in the US. The support page does not identify generations, so check compatibility for the exact model you plan to buy.
Choose Fire TV if you want to use your television
If you already have a TV in the room, a compatible Fire TV device can provide the Alexa screen route Blink lists. This is different from assuming that any smart TV or HDMI monitor can open a Blink feed on its own: the cited guidance names Fire TV devices, not unrestricted TV compatibility.

Choose a Fire Tablet for portability
Blink lists Fire Tablets as compatible screens, making the family a portable option. The source does not identify a best tablet, a minimum generation, or a complete model list, so verify the specific device before relying on it.

What to expect when you view a live feed
Blink says an Alexa live view lasts five minutes. Start one by saying, “Alexa, show [camera name],” using the camera’s Alexa-recognized name. This limit applies to the Alexa live view described by Blink; it should not be generalized to every feature in the Blink app or to subscription plans.

For a Blink Video Doorbell, a press notification on a linked screened Alexa device can start an automatic live view. Blink also specifies that its Video Doorbell is the only Blink device compatible with Alexa two-way audio. See Blink’s guidance on live view and two-way audio for the scope of those interactions.

Echo Show’s Home Monitoring feature uses the Echo Show’s own built-in camera; it is separate from displaying a Blink camera feed. Amazon’s Home Monitoring instructions describe that Echo-specific feature, not Blink compatibility. Enabling Home Monitoring is not a substitute for linking a Blink camera to a compatible Alexa screen.
Quick Recap
Rank #4
- Hear when someone's there — Blink Chime rings inside your home creating an audible sound when your Blink doorbell detects motion or is pressed.
- Set up in minutes — All you need is the Blink app and a standard outlet to get started.
- Sleek, elegant design — Curved edges and slim profile create a modern look that fits your home.
- Works with all Blink doorbells — Know when someone's at the door from anywhere in your home, even if your phone isn’t on you.
Check before choosing a specific model
- Confirm that the exact device is an Alexa-enabled screen compatible with Blink in your country; family-level support does not prove that every generation works.
- If you want split-screen viewing, confirm the feature is available in your region and that your setup has at least two cameras. Blink’s cited instructions name Echo Show 8, 10, and 15 and currently specify the US.
- If you plan to use a television, verify the Fire TV device and its behavior rather than assuming the TV itself is compatible.
- Compare current model specifications and prices on the manufacturer’s local product pages; the cited support material does not provide a current ranked list or price comparison.
- Plan for on-demand checks rather than continuous viewing, because the Alexa live-view session Blink describes lasts five minutes.
