How to choose among them
Start with the task rather than the novelty. A portable inverter and a cordless soldering iron address very different needs; a bucket-top vacuum, tripod light and bug zapper are likewise useful only if their particular setup fits where and how you work. Compare the exact models using these checks:
- Task and location: Identify what you need the tool to do and whether it will be used indoors, outdoors or away from mains power.
- Power source: Check which battery platform the exact model accepts and whether it can also run from AC. Do not assume a battery listed for one regional product works with every ONE+ device.
- Kit contents: Confirm whether the listing is for a bare tool or includes a battery, charger, hose, tips or other accessories you need.
