For the strongest protection, choose the UAG Plasma XTE or the Spigen Tough Armor. If adjustable viewing matters more, the ESR Boost is the better fit. The ESR Armor suits buyers who want a clear back, and the Spigen Slim Armor Essential S suits buyers who want less bulk. Every case here is listed for the Galaxy S24 Ultra specifically. Both Spigen and ESR also sell cases for other Galaxy models, so confirm the phone model on the listing before you buy.
This guide compares manufacturer specifications and one 2024 editorial roundup. We have not tested these cases ourselves. Drop protection and durability figures below are manufacturer claims unless a source is named otherwise.

Spigen Tough Armor MagFit (variant)
Spigen also lists an S24 Ultra version called Tough Armor MagFit, with a built-in stand and MagFit branding for magnetic accessories. Spigen’s page showed $54.99 at the time this guide was compiled. Rank #2

2. ESR Armor Kickstand Case
This is the clear-case alternative. ESR’s official EU listing identifies a Galaxy S24 Ultra Armor Kickstand Case and several color variants, which makes it the choice if you want to keep the phone’s original back visible. Versions differ by market and color, so the details can vary. Check the exact version you select for two things: whether a screen protector is included, and whether the listing is for your region.
3. ESR Boost Kickstand Case
This is the adjustable-viewing pick. ESR’s official listing describes three stand modes between 30° and 60°, usable in portrait or landscape. In its product copy, ESR says the stand works for watching, video chatting, and browsing. ESR’s UK listing adds two claims: the aluminum-alloy kickstand is lab-tested to last over 3,000 uses, and wireless charging works with the case on. These are ESR’s own claims. The UK page does not give a publication year for the test, and no independent test is cited.

- Military-grade protection via Extreme Protection Tech
- Built-in kickstand for hands-free viewing

4. UAG Plasma XTE
This is the rugged alternative. UAG’s specification lists a metal kickstand with multiple viewing angles, wireless charging compatibility, air-soft corners, and 20 ft (6 m) drop protection. The drop figure is UAG’s own specification, not an independent test result. Tom’s Guide chose the Plasma XTE as its best kickstand case in a 2024 roundup covering the S24 family. The reviewer called it bulkier than some alternatives, which is the main trade-off to weigh against its protection claims.
5. Spigen Slim Armor Essential S
This is the slimmer-profile option. Spigen says its kickstand closes flush against the case. The partner listing available for this review is less detailed than the other product pages, so confirm the S24 Ultra version, current stock, and feature list before you buy. Treat its place in this ranking as provisional until those details are checked.

Protection claims: how to read them
Each brand describes protection differently. Spigen describes materials and edge design, UAG gives a drop height, and ESR gives a stand-durability figure. None of these numbers come from a shared test method, so they cannot be ranked against each other. Use them to understand what each brand is promising, not to conclude which case will survive a fall better.

Before you buy
- Select Galaxy S24 Ultra on the listing. Do not assume that a case for the Galaxy S24 or S24+ fits the Ultra.
- Check the color and variant you are buying. Clear, color, and MagFit versions are sold as separate products.
- For ESR Armor, confirm whether a screen protector is included in the version you select.
- If you need wireless charging or magnetic accessories, check the charger or accessory against the case before purchase.
- Confirm the current price and stock on the retailer’s page. Prices and availability for these cases change, and the S24 Ultra is a 2024 phone, so some colors and versions may be discontinued.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
