A 60% keyboard is a compact layout, not a claim that a board has 60 keys: it removes dedicated keys such as the function row, navigation cluster and number pad, putting many of their actions behind key combinations. That saves desk space, but makes arrow keys and editing controls less immediate. In GamesRadar+’s guide, accessed October 7, 2026, the Corsair Clipper Pro Mini 60 is the current top pick; its listed price was $99.99, which may change. The five options below are a feature-based shortlist, not a uniform head-to-head ranking.
How to choose among 60% gaming keyboards
Start with the controls you use most. If you regularly navigate spreadsheets, code, or long documents, test whether the function layer feels comfortable for arrows and navigation. If you want more mouse room or a minimal desk, the smaller footprint may be worth the extra key combinations.

- Switch behavior: Hall Effect magnetic, optical, adjustable-actuation, and conventional linear switches differ in feel and features. The type alone does not establish which board is faster or better for you.
- Connectivity: Check the exact model and SKU for wired or wireless operation. The options described here are wired.
- Software: Verify that the configuration tools work with your operating system and that essential controls remain usable without them.
- Price and availability: Both can change by region and over time; confirm them for the precise model before buying.
- Sound and build: Give more weight to attributed review observations than to manufacturer claims, and consider whether you can try the board in person.
Five 60% gaming keyboards to consider
1. Corsair Clipper Pro Mini 60: best-supported all-round pick
GamesRadar+ names the wired Clipper Pro Mini 60 its best 60% gaming keyboard in its accessed buying guide. The guide lists MGX Hyperdrive Core switches and ABS keycaps, and praises its additional switch features and typing feel; it also reports occasional spacebar scratching. Those are the guide’s assessment, not a guarantee that every unit will sound or feel the same.
Corsair describes the Clipper’s switches as Hall Effect magnetic and lists 8,000 Hz polling, per-key RGB, IP57 protection, and CORSAIR WEB HUB software. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent verification. Arrow-key access may require software configuration, so check that detail if you use arrows often. The $99.99 price shown in the GamesRadar+ guide is time-sensitive.

2. Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini: analog-control competitor
GamesRadar+ identifies the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini as a direct competitor and former leader in the same guide. Its useful point of contrast is analog control versus the Clipper’s magnetic-switch feature set. The guide says the Razer costs more and has a less polished sound profile. These are editorial comparisons from that guide, not results from a newly conducted five-keyboard test.
3. SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini: adjustable actuation
SteelSeries describes the Apex Pro Mini as a wired 60% keyboard with adjustable switches, programmable actuation points, 2-in-1 binds, per-key RGB, and SteelSeries software. Those features make it worth considering if you want to tune actuation or assign two actions to a key.
