For an unattended prerecorded YouTube stream, a cloud looping service is usually the most relevant option: it can keep uploaded videos running without leaving a home computer online. StreamNeo is the first service to consider for this workflow: it runs continuously from the cloud, accepts uploads at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and gives new accounts a free first day.
Below, the comparison separates services built for continuous prerecorded loops from browser studios designed for produced live shows. Prices and plan details were checked on October 3, 2026, and may change. Confirm the current checkout terms before subscribing.
Which services fit a 24/7 prerecorded YouTube stream?
A continuous prerecorded stream is not the same thing as staying live on camera or hosting a guest show. You upload video files, arrange a playlist or loop, and a cloud service sends the stream to YouTube. YouTube lists Gyre in its encoder tools catalog as a cloud-based option for 24/7 prerecorded streaming; that listing establishes category fit, not endorsement, guaranteed performance, monetization, or approval of particular content.
For this comparison, a useful distinction is whether continuous operation is clearly described, what the listed price buys, and whether the provider states a qualifying plan. A per-stream price, an account tier, and an add-on are not interchangeable.

| StreamNeo | Cloud looping of uploaded videos to YouTube, with one always-on stream per slot. | Monthly: $9.99 per month. Other billing periods are listed below. | Same product on every plan; one slot is one always-on stream. YouTube only. |
| Gyre | Cloud looping of prerecorded videos; also listed by YouTube among encoder tools. | Official page snapshot shows Start at $49, Start+ at $99, and PRO+ at $169; the page presents plan differences in stream count, storage, resolution, playlists, and scheduling. | The cited snapshot does not establish a billing interval for these displayed amounts. Check the current plan and checkout terms. |
| OneStream Live | Cloud streaming of prerecorded or real-time video, including scheduled prerecorded playlists. | Pricing page advertises a $30/month 24-hour YouTube stream add-on. | Its help article says 24/7 streaming requires Enterprise and is YouTube-only. The plan requirement and advertised add-on price do not clearly reconcile. |
| YTStream | Cloud playlists of uploaded prerecorded videos sent continuously to YouTube. | $19/month per 1080p stream; $39/month per 4K stream; $99/month per 8K stream. | Prices are listed per stream. Confirm current billing and plan details on the provider’s page. |
| StreamYard | Browser-based live production, recording, guests, branding, and multistreaming. | Core: $44.99 monthly or $35.99/month billed yearly. Advanced: $88.99 monthly or $68.99/month billed yearly. | The listed prerecorded stream lengths are limited to two hours on Core and four hours on Advanced; the inspected page does not establish automated 24/7 loop operation. |
StreamYard’s page warns that prices can vary with promotions, seasonal deals, renewal terms, and custom offers. It is better assessed as a live-production studio than as a continuous prerecorded-loop service.

2. Gyre: compare plan limits, not just the starting figure
Gyre describes a cloud service that loops prerecorded video into continuous streams. YouTube’s encoder tools page also lists it as a cloud-based 24/7 prerecorded-streaming tool and mentions Full HD and 4K output and automatic file optimization. Neither the listing nor the vendor’s descriptions establish a particular channel outcome or guarantee uninterrupted service.
Gyre’s official page snapshot shows Start at $49, Start+ at $99, and PRO+ at $169. It presents different stream counts, storage, resolutions, playlist options, and scheduling across plans. Because the cited snapshot does not establish the billing interval for those amounts, verify the current plan page and checkout before comparing its cost with monthly or per-stream plans elsewhere.
Gyre’s page also makes claims about view growth and longer viewing. The cited claims are not accompanied in the reviewed passage by a named study, organization, or year, so they should not be treated as established results.
3. OneStream Live: clarify 24/7 eligibility and total cost
OneStream supports prerecorded and real-time streaming. Its help material says prerecorded videos can be uploaded from a device or cloud storage, placed in a playlist, and scheduled up to 60 days ahead. For continuous YouTube streaming, however, its own pages leave a material question unresolved: the pricing page advertises a $30/month 24-hour YouTube stream add-on, while the help article, last updated September 3, 2026, says 24/7 streaming is exclusive to YouTube and requires Enterprise.

- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Ask OneStream which plan qualifies, whether the add-on is available on that plan, and what the complete recurring charge will be before buying. Do not assume the advertised add-on alone grants access to 24/7 streaming.
4. YTStream: choose by resolution and stream count
YTStream describes a cloud workflow in which uploaded prerecorded videos are placed in a playlist and sent continuously to YouTube. Its official page lists looping playlists and automatic restart on failure across the listed quality plans:
- 1080p: $19/month per stream.
- 4K: $39/month per stream.
- 8K: $99/month per stream.
These are vendor-listed prices, not independent performance results. Compare the per-stream charge with the number of concurrent channels you need and verify the current plan terms before committing.
5. StreamYard: a different tool for a different job
StreamYard is a browser studio aimed at producing and recording live shows, including guest interviews, branded layouts, and multistreaming. Its pricing page lists prerecorded streams up to two hours on Core and up to four hours on Advanced, rather than establishing continuous 24/7 prerecorded-loop automation. The page snapshot lists Core at $44.99 monthly or $35.99/month billed yearly, and Advanced at $88.99 monthly or $68.99/month billed yearly; the vendor warns these prices can vary with offers and renewal terms. Choose it for a produced show workflow, not on the assumption that it will run an unattended continuous loop.

How to compare the real cost and capability
Before paying, check the specific stream configuration you need rather than sorting providers by their lowest displayed number.
- Billing unit: Is the amount monthly, per stream, per account, an add-on, or a plan starting price? If the billing unit is not stated, confirm it with the provider.
- Eligibility: Is 24/7 operation included in the listed plan, separately purchased, or gated behind a higher tier? OneStream’s pages currently describe different access conditions.
- Quality and concurrency: Confirm whether the plan supports your resolution and frame rate for every simultaneous stream you need.
- Loop controls: Check playlist order, scheduling, storage, and whether videos can be added or changed while a stream is running.
- Recovery: Look for a documented restart or recovery process, and clarify what happens if YouTube or the provider interrupts the stream.
- Destinations: Confirm the networks supported if you need more than YouTube. StreamNeo streams to YouTube only.
- Renewal and cancellation: Check the renewal period, promotional conditions, and cancellation terms at checkout.
For a simple total-cost comparison, multiply a per-stream monthly rate by the number of concurrent streams and compare that with the complete account or add-on cost needed for the same workload. Do not infer that a cheaper entry price includes the same resolution, stream count, or uninterrupted 24/7 eligibility.
YouTube requirements still apply to cloud services
Using a cloud service does not bypass YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility or content policies. YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days to enable streaming. All live streams must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Review YouTube’s live-streaming requirements before setting up a service.
Continuous availability also does not establish monetization eligibility, guarantee channel growth, or make reused material permissible. Rights and permissions for music, video, and other material remain the creator’s responsibility. YouTube’s listing of Gyre is not a promise that a specific stream will comply with its rules or be approved for monetization.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a YouTube 24/7 stream have to use prerecorded video?
No. This comparison focuses on prerecorded loops; a continuous live camera or produced show is a different workflow and may call for a live-production setup instead.
Does YouTube’s listing of Gyre mean YouTube endorses it?
No. The encoder tools listing identifies it as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 prerecorded streaming; it does not amount to an endorsement or a performance guarantee.
