Between Gyre and LiveReacting, Gyre’s published plans make stream counts, storage, and playlist access easier to compare; LiveReacting documents a flexible cloud workflow for looping and scheduling. The right fit depends on whether you need multiple streams, playlist controls, or a low-risk way to test.
Gyre vs LiveReacting: the practical differences
Both services are designed to keep prerecorded video live on YouTube from cloud infrastructure, rather than relying on an always-on computer at home. The clearest documented differences are Gyre’s tiered stream and storage limits and LiveReacting’s described upload, playlist, loop, and scheduling workflow. LiveReacting’s price cited below comes from its own comparison page, not a current pricing page reviewed here; confirm it before subscribing.
| Decision point | Gyre | LiveReacting |
|---|---|---|
| Entry paid option | Start is listed at $49/month for one HD stream; playlists and scheduler are not included. Gyre pricing page accessed October 3, 2026. Gyre pricing | Its vendor-authored comparison page reports $39.99/month for the 24/7 plan, including playlists and scheduling. This is a dated vendor comparison claim, not a verified current pricing-page price. LiveReacting comparison |
| First documented playlist plan | Start+ is listed at $99/month, with playlists and scheduler, up to four HD streams or one 4K stream, and 75 GB storage. Gyre pricing | LiveReacting’s comparison says playlists and scheduling are part of its 24/7 plan. Verify current availability and pricing on the vendor’s plan page. LiveReacting comparison |
| Test before paying | Gyre lists a seven-day trial with one HD stream at 30 fps, 20 GB storage, up to 15 files, and a watermark. Gyre pricing | LiveReacting describes a non-expiring free plan for short 720p tests with a watermark; continuous streaming requires its 24/7 plan. LiveReacting 24/7 streaming |
| Local computer required | Gyre’s pricing page lists no software requirement. Gyre pricing | LiveReacting says streams run from its cloud servers, so OBS and a continuously running user computer are not required. LiveReacting 24/7 streaming |
| YouTube verified-encoder listing | LiveReacting’s comparison says Gyre is listed as a YouTube Live verified encoder. This is a claim by a vendor that is itself being compared, checked September 23, 2026; verify the current YouTube list independently. LiveReacting comparison | The same comparison says LiveReacting is not on the verified encoders list but uses YouTube’s official API. Encoder-list status and API compliance are separate matters. What LiveReacting’s documented workflow offers
Build a loop or playlist
LiveReacting says you can upload video files or import them from Google Drive, Dropbox, or your YouTube channel, arrange the files, shuffle them, or loop a single video. The product page also describes connecting a channel and starting or scheduling the stream. See LiveReacting’s 24/7 streaming page for its current workflow description.
Test and continuous-stream options
LiveReacting describes short tests on its free plan at 720p with a watermark. Its product page says uninterrupted 1080p streaming requires the 24/7 plan and describes that plan as unlimited duration; this does not override YouTube’s own rules or limits. The $39.99/month figure appears on LiveReacting’s comparison page, which also presents an annual equivalent and a promotion as of its September 2026 comparison. Treat those as dated vendor claims and verify the current plan price and terms before purchase. LiveReacting 24/7 streaming · LiveReacting comparison

A vendor’s stream allowance cannot override YouTube’s channel and stream-key limits. YouTube’s live-streaming help page, accessed October 3, 2026, says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days; live streamers must be at least 16. It also lists a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and three active streams per stream key. Confirm current requirements in YouTube’s live-streaming help.

Copyright, reused content, and monetization
Only stream videos, music, and visuals you own or are licensed to broadcast. LiveReacting’s guidance makes the same rights point, but permission alone does not guarantee that a channel will qualify for monetization. LiveReacting 24/7 streaming
YouTube separately reviews whether monetized content is original and authentic. Its channel monetization policy says content must “Not be mass-produced, generic, repetitive, or manipulative.” The policy page, accessed October 3, 2026, notes that on July 15, 2025, YouTube clarified its terminology by renaming “repetitious content” as “inauthentic content.” The policy also states: “Reused content is separate from YouTube’s Copyright enforcement, which means it’s not based on copyright, permission, or fair use.” In practice, having permission to rebroadcast material does not by itself establish monetization eligibility. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies.
Neither a continuous stream nor a loop guarantees audience growth, monetization, or revenue. Those outcomes depend on YouTube’s rules, channel eligibility, the material, and audience response; the available product claims do not establish a general growth or earnings result.
