Pokémon Champions has confirmed that the 2027 Global Challenge II is an official online competition, but its competition dates and entry details have not been announced in the official notice covered here. The September 18–28, 2026 dates that are publicized belong to a separate special in-game roster celebrating both Global Challenge I and II—not to the competition itself.
What the official announcement confirms
The Pokémon Champions official announcement describes the 2027 Global Challenge I and II as official Online Competitions and says a special roster will be made available to celebrate them. It confirms the roster’s availability from September 18, 2026, at 02:00 UTC through September 28, 2026, at 01:59 UTC. Those times define the roster period only.

Which Pokémon are in the special roster?
The announcement associates the featured Pokémon with Regulation Set M-C. Its roster includes:

Are Global Challenge II’s dates confirmed?
No competition window is confirmed in the official roster announcement. Secondary calendars have circulated different dates: one lists October 30–November 2, 2026, while another gives October 29–November 2. Because they conflict and are not confirmed by an event-specific official notice, neither should be treated as the competition schedule.
Check for a dedicated Global Challenge II announcement on the official Pokémon Champions news page before planning around dates. Do not use the September special-roster period as a substitute for the competition schedule.

- UNO card game provides classic play, where players match colors or numbers in a race to get rid of all their cards!
- Action Cards and Wild Cards add unexpected excitement and game-changing fun, like the Reverse Card that switches the direction of play!
- The deck includes 3 blank Wild Cards for house rules anyone can make up -- erase and create new rules each game!
- When down to one card, players don't want to forget to yell 'UNO!' Keep score and the first player or team to 500 wins!
- The color blind accessible deck has special graphic symbols on each card to help identify its color, allowing players with any form of color blindness to play!
What players still need to know before entering
The official notice reviewed here does not specify the competition’s sign-up process, entry requirements, eligible regions, age divisions, battle format or rules, or participation and ranking rewards. Those details should be verified in an event-specific official notice when one is published. Until then, there is not enough confirmed information to give reliable entry steps or a rules checklist.
How the in-game recruitment timing works
Pokémon Champions describes a separate recruitment system for rosters: players can meet a new lineup without VP every 22 hours, or use VP or Quick Coupons to shorten the wait. Lineups vary by roster and contain no more than one of the same Pokémon; some special rosters may require dedicated tickets. These are roster-recruitment mechanics, not Global Challenge II registration, eligibility, or battle rules.
