How to choose among the 13
Start with the fastener and drive
For socket work, match the drive size to the sockets and fasteners you already use: the roundup includes 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch drive options. A torque wrench is the choice among these tools when the job calls for tightening to a specified torque. Choose geometry for access
Long-reach, locking-flex and swivel-head ratchets address access problems differently. The long ratchet prioritizes reach, while a flex or swivel head lets the handle angle around obstructions. For small components, picks and hooks are for reaching or lifting; long-nose pliers are for gripping. Consider the working clearance and the direction of force before choosing a tool.

What the company says about ICON G2 ratchets
In an April 15, 2026 announcement, Harbor Freight said all ICON G2 ratchets have a lifetime guarantee and described features including sealed heads. This is a company statement, not an independent durability finding. The warranty’s material-and-workmanship terms and limitations remain the relevant policy details.
