Drake’s customized Boeing 767-200ER leads recent media rankings, with SlashGear estimating its value at $185–200 million in 2026. But these figures are not a clean list of verified purchase prices: they mix used-market ranges, new-aircraft pricing, reported amounts and estimates for customized planes. Some aircraft are linked to musicians through companies or family entities rather than confirmed personal ownership.
How to read this ranking
The list below follows the reported figures in Barry Peacock’s September 29, 2026, SlashGear article. Its figures are attributed reporting, not audited appraisals, and do not all describe the same kind of value. A new-aircraft price, secondhand range, reported investment and estimate for a heavily customized aircraft cannot be compared as if they were equivalent.

Ownership also varies in strength and form. An aircraft seen in a photo or tracked in flight is not necessarily personally owned; registration to a company, family-company association, charter access and direct ownership are different things. SlashGear says it consulted registration records, trackers, aviation specialists, news reports and statements, while noting that direct confirmation was rare. GlobalAir likewise cautions that celebrity aircraft prices often come from circulated media reports, and that spending on paint or interior upgrades should not be treated as the aircraft’s market value.
Ten high-value musician-associated aircraft
The ordering reflects the amounts reported by SlashGear, not a standardized appraisal ranking. Price basis and ownership evidence are shown separately so the numbers are not mistaken for confirmed amounts paid by the musicians.

| Reported order | Musician or association | Aircraft | Reported figure and basis | Ownership qualification |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Drake | Boeing 767-200ER | $185–200 million, SlashGear’s 2026 estimated value after extensive conversion and customization. | SlashGear reported Drake’s 2019 claim that it was not rented, shared or co-owned. It also reported that Cargojet offered the aircraft in exchange for brand exposure, so the arrangement should not be reduced to a simple out-of-pocket purchase. |
| 2 | Elton John | Bombardier Global Express | $90 million estimate in SlashGear’s 2026 article. The same article gives $13.9 million as a secondary-market figure for the aircraft type, a different basis. | Reported association; the estimate is not an independently verified appraisal. |
| 3 | Davido’s family | Bombardier Global 7500 | $73–78 million reported new-aircraft range in SlashGear’s 2026 article. | The article associates the aircraft with family-related companies. That does not establish personal ownership by Davido. |
| 4 | Jay-Z and Beyoncé | Bombardier Global 7500 | $75 million reported figure in SlashGear’s 2026 article. | The article says the aircraft was registered to a Jay-Z holding company; registration to a company is not the same as a confirmed personal purchase. |
| 5 | Taylor Swift | Dassault Falcon 7X | $54 million new-aircraft figure in SlashGear’s 2026 article; the article separately reports $16–28 million for pre-owned examples. | Neither figure establishes what Swift paid for her aircraft. |
| 6 | Rick Ross | Gulfstream G550 | $35 million, a figure attributed by SlashGear to a Forbes report of Ross’s remarks; the exact price is not officially confirmed. | Reported investment amount, not a verified appraisal. |
| 7 | Travis Scott | Embraer Lineage 1000 | $30–40 million estimated acquisition range in SlashGear’s 2026 article. | The article describes a VIP conversion based on the Embraer E-190; the range is an estimate. |
| 8 | Kenny Chesney | Dassault Falcon 900EX | $11–13 million reported secondhand range in SlashGear’s 2026 article. | Chesney did not disclose his purchase price, according to the article. |
| 9 | Ludacris | Dassault Falcon 900B | $3–7 million reported secondhand range in SlashGear’s 2026 article. | The article notes that it was a pre-owned 1984 aircraft and contrasts that with a higher media claim. |
| 10 | Nicki Minaj | Gulfstream IV-SP | $2–5 million reported secondhand range in SlashGear’s 2026 article. | A 2021 photograph showing registration N428KS was not itself proof of ownership. The article distinguishes that earlier appearance from a 2025 post it describes as a claim that she had bought her first jet. |
Why the highest figures are especially hard to compare
Drake’s Boeing 767 combines aircraft and conversion estimates
SlashGear’s $185–200 million figure is an estimated value for a Boeing 767-200ER after extensive conversion and customization, not a published, independently verified sale price. The aircraft’s reported history also complicates the word “owned”: Cargojet offered it in exchange for brand exposure in 2019. SlashGear quotes Drake describing the arrangement as “No rental, no timeshare, no co-owners,” and reports his explanation that he was honored to get involved with a Canadian company. Those statements describe his account of the arrangement; they do not establish a market appraisal.
Global 7500 figures mix a reported aircraft amount and new-aircraft pricing
The $75 million figure for Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s Global 7500 is a reported amount, while the $73–78 million range discussed for Davido’s family aircraft is presented as new-aircraft pricing. Those similar figures do not prove that the aircraft were bought at those prices or that the ownership arrangements are the same.

Customized estimates are not ordinary resale values
Elton John’s reported $90 million estimate sits alongside SlashGear’s $13.9 million secondary-market figure for the Global Express type. GlobalAir’s October 28, 2024 update explains why such gaps should be treated carefully: media reports may include customization claims, but upgrade spending is not automatically the aircraft’s valuation. Without a common appraisal date and method, neither figure makes the other a reliable apples-to-apples comparison.

- It can identify reported aircraft associations and price claims. The SlashGear list is a useful snapshot of what has been reported, especially for headline figures such as Drake’s aircraft.
- It cannot establish a definitive top ten by verified market value. The available figures do not use one valuation method or date, and direct confirmation is uncommon.
- It cannot show exactly what every musician paid. Some entries are market ranges or new-aircraft prices, while others are media-attributed amounts or estimates.
- It cannot make every association personal ownership. Corporate registration and family-company ties should not be silently converted into an individual ownership claim.
For additional context on celebrity-aircraft reporting and valuation, see GlobalAir’s “12 most expensive private jets of celebrities”, updated October 28, 2024. Its figures, like those in the 2026 list, should be read with attention to source and valuation basis.
