The ten products below are a criteria-based shortlist, not a validated ranking or the result of hands-on testing. Their capabilities are described by their vendors, so confirm the modules, data coverage, and workflows you need before choosing.
How these TPRM platforms differ
TPRM software can support the vendor lifecycle, from intake and onboarding through assessment, approvals, remediation, monitoring, renewal, and offboarding. Not every product covers every stage in the same way. Some focus on security questionnaires and external cyber signals; others emphasize configurable enterprise workflows, risk intelligence, or analyst-supported due diligence.

This comparison uses vendor-described capabilities to show where each candidate may fit. It does not establish that one platform is universally superior, and it does not independently verify product claims. The products are presented in no particular order.
10 third-party risk management platforms to consider
| Platform | Vendor-described focus | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Diligent 3rdRisk | Centralized third-party data, automated surveys and workflows, monitoring, AI-supported assessment, remediation, and integrations including Teams and Slack. Diligent’s product page says 3rdRisk was named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Third-Party Risk Management Tools; that is a vendor-page claim, not independent proof of superiority. | Confirm which integrations and workflow modules are included in the proposed deployment. |
| ServiceNow Third-party Risk Management | Lifecycle management from onboarding to retirement, centralized vendor risk, automated assessments, change monitoring, remediation tasks, and connections to broader ServiceNow workflows. | Especially assess fit if your organization already uses ServiceNow; validate the specific deployment and integration requirements. |
| Vanta Third Party Risk Management | Automatic vendor discovery, configurable inherent-risk scoring, procurement intake, evidence requests, AI-assisted security assessments, remediation plans, and continuous monitoring. | Check whether its security-oriented assessment model covers your non-cyber risk domains. Vendor-reported performance figures are not independent outcome measures. |
| UpGuard Vendor Risk | Vendor security profiles, risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, reporting, integrations, and an API. | Confirm the breadth of risk domains and lifecycle workflow depth required for a wider enterprise TPRM program. |
| ProcessUnity Vendor Risk Management | Onboarding and pre-contract due diligence, screening across areas including financial stability and security, sourcing/RFx, and external cybersecurity-rating and financial-health content. | Verify which screening data and sourcing capabilities are part of the package you would buy. |
| OneTrust Third-Party Risk Management | Configurable assessments, centralized third-party inventory, mitigation workflows, continuous monitoring, integrations, and reporting. OneTrust says its offering supports more than 50 built-in control frameworks; check coverage for your specific frameworks. | Confirm framework mapping, integration scope, and which monitoring capabilities are included. |
| S&P Global Third Party Risk Assessments | An intelligence-led assessment offering with human validation, standardized risk data, onboarding support, and supplier resilience information. | Determine whether an assessment and intelligence service meets your needs or whether you also require a dedicated workflow platform. |
| Neotas TPRM Platform | Risk intelligence combined with lifecycle automation, including onboarding, assessment, sanctions screening, ESG analysis, adverse media, operational resilience, and monitoring. | Ask about geographic data coverage and the scope of analyst review for the jurisdictions and risks that matter to you. |
| Talarity Third-Party Risk Management | A GRC add-on module with vendor inventory and tiering, self-service questionnaires, due-diligence workflows, audit trail, and contractual-obligation tracking. | The product page says the module attaches to GRC Professional or Enterprise Governance; confirm bundle and plan availability. |
| GAN Integrity Third-Party Risk Management | Screening, assessments, approvals, reporting, geographic risk views, connections to procurement, ERP, and supply-chain systems, and internal signals such as conflicts and gifts. Its stated emphasis includes anti-bribery and integrity due diligence. | Assess whether integrity-focused due diligence complements or differs from your cybersecurity and broader vendor-risk requirements. |
How to choose the right platform
Map your required lifecycle
Write down the stages your team needs in one system: intake, inventory, tiering, onboarding, assessment, approval, remediation, monitoring, reassessment, renewal, and offboarding. Ask vendors to show how a real supplier moves through those stages, and identify any steps that rely on separate products or manual work.
#1 Best Overall
Set the risk domains and evidence model
Decide which risks are in scope—such as cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, financial stability, operational resilience, ESG, sanctions, anti-bribery, and fourth-party exposure. Then decide whether you need questionnaires and evidence collection, external ratings and signals, analyst-supported investigations, or some combination. A product designed around security evidence may not provide the same breadth as an intelligence-led or integrity-focused service.
Check monitoring and response workflows
Ask what events trigger alerts or reassessment, how often the product refreshes its information, and how owners assign and track remediation. “Continuous monitoring” is a vendor-described capability, not by itself a guarantee that every relevant risk change will be detected or acted on.
Validate integrations and operating model
Map the tools involved in procurement, GRC, ERP, collaboration, and evidence storage. Verify the exact integrations, data flows, and any API scope rather than relying on a general integration claim. Also establish whether the offering is configurable self-service software, a module within a broader platform, or a service that includes data or human assessment support; implementation effort and support can differ substantially.
Pricing and procurement questions
No comparable public pricing was established for these platforms. Request quotes using the same scope so you can compare like with like, and ask each vendor to itemize:
Rank #3
- Number of suppliers, users, business units, and assessments included.
- Required modules, data feeds, frameworks, and monitoring services.
- Implementation, migration, configuration, training, and support costs.
- Any analyst or investigation services, usage limits, and renewal terms.
- Integration work and the cost of expanding supplier or user volume.
Ask for a demonstration based on a representative vendor relationship, including an assessment finding, a change signal, and the resulting remediation workflow. This helps test whether the proposed configuration fits your operating process rather than merely matching a feature list.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is there a definitive best TPRM platform?
No universal winner is established by vendor product pages. The right choice is the one that fits your risk domains, supplier population, existing systems, and preferred balance between workflow automation and external or human-supported intelligence. Treat vendor claims as starting points for evaluation and validate product scope, data coverage, integrations, and commercial terms directly with each provider.
Rank #4
Diligent also offers Third Party Manager, which its product page describes with risk-based screening, sanctions and watchlist and adverse-media information, investigation services, continuous monitoring, and fourth-party assessment claims. Its commercial and functional relationship to 3rdRisk should be confirmed with Diligent; it is not counted here as a separate shortlist entry.
