Games Workshop’s 2 October 2026 Q&A about The Big Autumn Preview names three subjects: Warhammer Tone Pro paints, the Khazalite Holds and the Legion of the Damned. The official page embeds the presenters’ video, but its accessible text does not include a transcript, so it confirms the topics—not the spoken answers. Read the official Q&A.
What did The Big Autumn Preview announce?
The Q&A sits alongside a broader preview covering several Warhammer settings and formats, rather than a single release. Games Workshop’s official overview lists:
- Warhammer Tone Pro paints.
- The Legion of the Damned for Kill Team.
- Codex: Adeptus Custodes.
- A Horus Heresy release about the Battle for the Signus Cluster.
- The Khazalite Holds and a new Seraphon battletome for Age of Sigmar.
- Tomb Kings reinforcements for The Old World.
- Night Goblins for Blood Bowl.
- A Warhammer Quest: Darkwater expansion.
The overview also includes a Warhammer TV trailer, so the announcements span hobby products, tabletop releases and video content.
What is Warhammer Tone Pro?
Games Workshop describes Tone Pro as 30 colours, each available in five numbered tones, for 150 paints in total. Tone 1 is the darkest in each colour family and Tone 5 the lightest. The company’s 18 September 2026 announcement presents the range as usable for basecoats, layers, highlights, glazing and drybrushing. It says Shading Medium can turn Tone Pro paint into a shade or glaze, while Blending Medium extends drying time. Those are the manufacturer’s descriptions, not independent performance tests.

The range is accompanied by four new dry brushes in sizes XS through L. For the product details, see Games Workshop’s Tone Pro announcement.
When can you try the paints in a store?
Games Workshop announced that try-outs would be available in thousands of Warhammer and independent hobby stores from 26 September 2026, with Japan starting on 3 October. These are announced try-out dates, not confirmation that a particular shop currently has stock or is offering a session. Check with the retailer for local availability.

What did the presenters say about the Khazalite Holds and Legion of the Damned?
The official Q&A page identifies both as subjects but does not provide the presenters’ answers in its accessible text. Games Workshop has separate preview features for the Khazalite Holds and the Legion of the Damned entering the Kill Team setting; those features provide announcement context, not a transcript of the Q&A.
A Japanese hobby blog published a partial, explicitly unofficial summary on 3 October 2026. It reports discussion of Khazalite history and Adeptus Custodes codex timing, among other points, but cautions that its account may be inaccurate and directs readers to the video. Treat those details as unconfirmed rather than as Games Workshop’s verified answers: Tarui Warhammer Blog’s summary.

Can you confirm the exact questions or current shop availability?
Not from the official page text alone. Search snippets suggest that viewers asked about paint, Adeptus Custodes, Tomb Kings of Khemri and other subjects, but the complete questions are not shown there. Likewise, the published try-out dates do not establish current inventory or availability at any named retailer. For exact answers, consult the embedded Q&A video; for a local paint try-out or purchase, contact the store directly.
