Where and why was the statement made?
The remarks came during a programme at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow marking Modi’s 25 years in public service. The event featured “Namo Seva: Ankahi Kahaniyan,” a theatrical series organised by the Uttar Pradesh culture department and Bharatendu Natya Academy. The production portrayed Modi’s public-service journey beginning with the 2001 Gujarat earthquake and reconstruction in Kachchh.
Adityanath described that journey as one “without stopping, bowing or wavering.” The report gives October 7 as the milestone date. He also directed that performances be staged across Uttar Pradesh, adapted to local languages and folk traditions.

What is verified, and what remains a claim?
The report establishes the setting, the event and what Adityanath said. It does not independently audit direct transfers, assess whether benefits reached all eligible households, or measure their effect on poverty or hunger. Adityanath’s assertion that India had more than 2.5 lakh startups is likewise reported speech, not an independently checked statistic in the article. Readers should understand the welfare and startup figures as claims made by the chief minister, rather than as performance findings established by this report.
