The standard Redmi 15 is the stronger fit if you want a larger screen, a higher listed refresh rate, a bigger battery and reverse charging. The standard Redmi Note 13 instead gives you an AMOLED display and a rear camera setup that includes ultra-wide and macro cameras. Both are listed with the Snapdragon 685 and 33W wired charging, so the Redmi 15 is not a chipset-generation upgrade on Xiaomi’s published specifications. No like-for-like current price difference is established; it depends on your country, configuration and seller.

Which screen is better?
Choose the Note 13 for AMOLED
The Note 13 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. If AMOLED is your priority, it is the clear choice between these two specification sheets.
Choose the Redmi 15 for size and refresh ceiling
The Redmi 15’s 6.9-inch LCD is larger and lists a higher maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. A higher ceiling does not mean every app or setting will use that rate: Xiaomi says refresh rate depends on supported apps. The practical choice is therefore AMOLED versus a larger LCD with a higher listed refresh ceiling, not a simple winner based on one number.

Performance: no listed chipset upgrade
Xiaomi lists the Snapdragon 685 in both standard models. The shared chipset name means the published specifications do not show a processor-generation step up in the Redmi 15. It does not prove identical performance in every task; that would require comparable testing.
Battery and charging
Xiaomi rates the Note 13 battery at 5000mAh typical and the Redmi 15 battery at 7000mAh typical. That gives the Redmi 15 the larger stated capacity. Both list 33W wired charging, while the Redmi 15 additionally supports 18W reverse charging.

Xiaomi advertises Redmi 15 claims including up to 2.32 days of use, up to 46 hours of calls and at least 80% battery capacity after 1600 full charge cycles. These are manufacturer claims based on Xiaomi Internal Labs testing, not independent head-to-head results; Xiaomi says actual results vary. Do not treat those figures as a guaranteed runtime for every user.

Camera hardware: modules matter more than megapixel counts
The Note 13 lists three rear modules: a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro. Xiaomi describes the Redmi 15 as having a 50MP AI dual camera system. The Note 13 therefore offers more specifically listed camera types, including an ultra-wide; the main-camera megapixel figures alone do not establish which phone takes better photos. No comparable independent camera test is established here.

Durability and other practical differences
Xiaomi lists IP54 for the Note 13 and IP64 for the Redmi 15. The Redmi 15 has the higher stated rating, but neither rating makes a phone suitable for immersion. Xiaomi says resistance is based on controlled laboratory conditions and may be affected by wear; consult its regional specifications and warranty terms rather than treating the rating as a promise of damage-proofing. See Xiaomi’s Note 13 specifications and Redmi 15 specifications.
The Note 13’s global product page also lists stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR blaster. The Redmi 15 global page emphasizes its larger battery and reverse charging. For Redmi 15, Xiaomi’s global FAQ gives a standard weight of 214g. Check the local product page for a direct size, weight or feature comparison, since regional variants can differ.

Price difference: compare local, like-for-like offers
There is no reliable universal price difference to quote from the official specification pages. Prices vary by country, memory configuration, seller, stock, phone condition and promotion. Launch pricing should not be mistaken for today’s street price.
- Choose your country and currency, then confirm that each listing is for the standard model—not a 5G or other regional variant.
- Match RAM and storage, condition, seller type and warranty coverage as closely as possible.
- Record both prices from the same retailer or market on the same date, including any promotion or delivery charge that affects the total.
- Subtract the lower offer from the higher one to find the price difference, then weigh it against the screen, battery and camera trade-offs above.
Check the regional version before buying
Memory options, NFC, network bands and in-box accessories are not universal. Xiaomi Spain, for example, lists Note 13 configurations of 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, while other markets may differ. Xiaomi’s Mexico Redmi 15 specifications list a 33W charger in the box, Bluetooth 5.0 and no NFC; those details should not be applied to other countries. Xiaomi’s FAQ says NFC is supported in Europe but not Latin America or Asia and advises checking local official availability. Verify the exact local SKU, supported network bands, NFC and included charger on Xiaomi’s page for your market: Xiaomi Spain Note 13 specifications, Xiaomi Mexico Redmi 15 specifications and the Redmi 15 FAQ.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Pick the Redmi 15 on listed specs if you value a larger screen, a higher maximum refresh rate, a larger rated battery or reverse charging.
- Pick the Redmi Note 13 on listed specs if AMOLED matters most or you want its specifically listed ultra-wide and macro rear cameras.
- Compare local prices before deciding if one is substantially cheaper: use the same market, configuration, condition and date, and confirm you are comparing the standard models.
