Xbox Store Purchase Not Showing Up? How to Find Your Game

If an Xbox Store game is not showing up, first check Microsoft order history while signed in to the Microsoft account used to buy it. The order’s status helps establish whether Microsoft has recorded the purchase; a bank statement alone does not confirm which account owns the game or that it is available in your Xbox library.

Check whether the purchase is recorded

1. Go to Microsoft account order history and sign in with the Microsoft account you used when buying the game.

Understand the order status

• Completed or Redeemed: Microsoft describes these statuses as charges that have posted to the payment option. They indicate a posted charge, not a guarantee that the game will appear immediately in the library.
• In progress: Microsoft says the charge has not yet posted to the payment option. Do not treat this status as a completed purchase.
• No order listed: If the purchase was very recent, Microsoft says it may take a few minutes to appear. Wait briefly, then check the order history again with the correct account and date range.

If the order is complete but the game is still missing

An order-history entry confirms that Microsoft has recorded an order, but it does not by itself establish that the game is visible or installable in the Xbox library. Check the library on the platform where you expect to play and make sure you are signed in with the account used for the purchase.
