There is no verified, authoritative public table that lets you rank every Wings of Heroes plane by speed, agility, and firepower. Choose by aircraft role and progression context instead: compare planes of similar tier, rarity, and upgrade state, then consider how each fits the way you play.
What the stats can—and cannot—tell you
Speed, agility, and firepower are useful lenses for thinking about an aircraft: broadly, they suggest how quickly it can move, how readily it can maneuver, and how much offensive force it can bring. But the available official material does not publish precise definitions or a numeric formula for combining these attributes in Wings of Heroes. It also does not establish that one attribute always matters more than the others.

That means a specific claim such as “this plane is the fastest” or a universal best-to-worst ranking needs current, verifiable in-game figures. Without those, treat stat labels as part of a broader choice rather than as proof that a plane is best for every battle.

Which plane is best for your play style?
The best fit depends on the role you want to play and the planes you have developed. The official App Store listing describes fighter and bomber aircraft, along with upgrades that affect performance and combat attributes. Use those roles as a starting point, then compare aircraft that are at similar progression levels.
- Want a fighter role? Compare available fighters with one another, paying attention to their displayed attributes and your current upgrades.
- Want a bomber role? Compare bombers with other bombers, rather than assuming a fighter’s strengths make it a better choice for your preferred role.
- Choosing between two candidates? Keep tier, rarity, and upgrade state as similar as possible. Otherwise, differences in progression may matter as much as the aircraft itself.
These are practical comparison guidelines, not official class-specific rules: the publisher’s sources establish aircraft roles and progression factors, but do not provide enough detail to prescribe a particular stat profile for each play style.
Why tier and rarity matter
Ten Square Games says matchmaking is primarily based on the highest-tier plane selected for a battle. Its Help Center notes that planes around one tier above or below may appear, regardless of their upgrade level; it also says a broader spread can occur when player tiers vary more widely. Read the Help Center explanation of plane differences for the publisher’s account.

Tier is not the only progression factor. The Help Center says rarity affects a plane’s power within its tier. A July 7, 2026 Ten Square Games announcement about progression explains that common aircraft are easier to unlock, while rarer planes are more differentiated within each tier. A rarer plane may therefore compare differently from a common one even when both belong to the same tier.

A plane’s strength in a match is not just a matter of its base attributes. The Help Center identifies Hangar Workshop perks, module upgrades, and power-ups used during battle as factors that can contribute to strength. The App Store listing also describes upgrades that affect aircraft performance and combat attributes.

For a useful comparison, check the aircraft’s current in-game screen and account for its upgrade state. If one plane has stronger modules or workshop perks—or benefits from a battle power-up—its performance may not tell you how the two aircraft compare in a like-for-like setup.
A practical way to compare aircraft
- Choose by role. Start with the fighter or bomber role that suits how you want to play.
- Check tier. Compare candidates at a similar tier, keeping in mind that the highest-tier plane you select is central to matchmaking.
- Check rarity. Rarity affects power and differentiation within a tier, so avoid treating tier alone as a complete comparison.
- Match upgrade context. Consider module upgrades and Hangar Workshop perks, and distinguish a plane’s setup from any power-up used during a battle.
- Read the current in-game attributes. Use the figures shown for your aircraft and upgrade state. Do not rely on an unsourced online ranking when exact values or their definitions are not established.
This approach helps separate a plane’s role from its progression advantages. It does not produce an official formula or guarantee that a particular aircraft will outperform another in every match.

Are published plane rankings current?
Roster information can change as the game is updated. Pocket Gamer’s guide, updated October 5, 2026 for version 2.3.2, lists the Yermolayev Yer-2 M-105, Mitsubishi G4M1, Hawker Sea Fury FB. 11, and Heinkel He 111 H-16 among its additions. It is a third-party strategic guide, not an authoritative source for official stat values or mechanics. Check the current in-game roster and aircraft screens before relying on a plane list or numerical comparison.
