How to switch windows with Alt+Tab
- Hold down the Alt key.
- Press Tab to move through the open-window choices. Continue pressing Tab while holding Alt to cycle through them.
- Release Alt when the window you want is selected.
How Task View and virtual desktops differ
Task View is an overview for choosing an open window or a virtual desktop; it is not the same as switching directly between windows. Press Windows key+Tab to open it, then select the window or desktop you need. To switch virtual desktops without opening Task View, press Windows key+Ctrl+Left Arrow or Windows key+Ctrl+Right Arrow. A virtual desktop groups a workspace separately; the arrow shortcuts change desktops, not the selected app window.

Is “Win Toggle” a Windows feature name?
“Win Toggle windows” is ambiguous wording, not a clearly established name for a Windows feature in Microsoft’s shortcut guidance. If you mean changing between open applications, Alt+Tab is the direct answer. If “Win Toggle” refers to a separate feature or a particular app, its context is needed to identify it.
