Change the pointer size in Windows 11
- Open Accessibility settings: press Windows logo key + U, or go to Start > Settings > Accessibility.
- Select Mouse pointer and touch.
- Under Mouse pointer, move the Size slider. Use the pointer preview to judge the size that works for you.
Microsoft’s instructions do not specify a numeric size range, so the slider and preview are the practical guide.

Change the pointer color or style
- On the Mouse pointer and touch page, find Mouse pointer style.
- Choose a built-in style: white, black, inverted, or one of the bright recommended colors.
- For a custom color, choose the custom option, then select Choose another color and pick a color. The exact presentation or wording may vary; follow the labels shown on your Settings page.
Microsoft says changing the pointer color may help it stand out against different background colors, but does not identify one color as best for everyone. Try the pointer against the screens and backgrounds where you most often lose track of it.

Select the white pointer option under Mouse pointer style to return to the default pointer color.

How Accessibility settings differ from Mouse Properties
The Accessibility page is the direct route for changing pointer size and style. Windows also has a separate, older pointer-scheme interface: go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mouse > Additional mouse settings, then open the Pointers tab. There you can choose a scheme or select an individual pointer and browse for a file. Those scheme and file options are distinct from the size and style controls on the Accessibility page.
Other settings in the Mouse area, such as pointer speed, trails, or showing the pointer when you press Ctrl, change pointer behavior or help you locate it; they are not the size-and-color controls described here.
