A 360mm AIO fits only if your exact case supports a 360mm radiator at the mounting position you want and the radiator-plus-fan assembly clears the surrounding hardware. The “360mm” label alone is not a fit guarantee: check the case’s position-specific limits against the cooler’s full dimensions before buying.
What “360mm radiator support” actually tells you
A 360mm AIO has a radiator sized for three 120mm fans, but case support depends on more than the nominal radiator size. A case may accept a 360mm radiator at the front but not the top, or it may limit how thick the radiator and fans can be together. The radiator’s length, width and thickness, the fans’ thickness, and nearby components all affect fit.

For example, the DeepCool CC360 WH ARGB lists support for a 360mm radiator at the front but only 240mm at the top. Its 320mm maximum GPU length is also relevant if a front-mounted radiator occupies space in front of the graphics card. DeepCool’s CC360 WH ARGB specifications are case-specific, not a general rule for other cases.
Check these dimensions before you buy
- Confirm support at the intended mounting position. Check the exact case model and revision manual or specifications for top, front, bottom or other radiator support. Do not assume a case-wide “360mm support” claim applies to every position.
- Compare the complete assembly dimensions. Add the radiator and fan thicknesses, and compare the result with the case’s stated combined thickness limit. Also check radiator length and width. If the manufacturer gives a radiator-plus-fan maximum, use that rather than treating radiator thickness as the whole assembly.
- Check nearby component clearance. A top mount can conflict with RAM or motherboard heatsinks. A front mount can reduce GPU space. PSU and drive hardware can constrain other mounting positions. Check the case’s layout and the dimensions of your installed parts.
- Plan tube routing and pump position. Once the assembly fits, make sure the tubes can reach without sharp bends and the pump and radiator can be positioned sensibly. Corsair advises keeping the radiator higher in the loop than the pump so air collects away from the pump. It describes a top mount with tubes down or a front mount with tube connections at the bottom as good positions; a front mount with tubes up is a last resort, with the pump below the radiator top. See Corsair’s AIO mounting guidance.
Why mounting position changes the answer
Top mount
Check combined thickness against the motherboard, RAM and heatsink clearance, not just the case’s radiator-size listing. NZXT lists top and front support up to 360mm for the H7 Flow, but recommends a maximum 57mm radiator-plus-fan thickness at the top. NZXT warns that thicker combinations may encounter heatsink or RAM clearance issues. The same radiator can therefore fit one position but not another in a given case. See NZXT’s H7 Flow FAQ.

- CONTACT FRAME FOR INTEL LGA1851 | LGA1700: Optimized contact pressure distribution for longer CPU life and better heat dissipation
- ARCTIC's P12 PRO FAN: More power at any speed - more powerful and quieter than the P12, especially at low speeds. Higher maximum speed for optimal cooling performance under high load
- NATIVE OFFSET MOUNTING FOR INTEL AND AMD: Shifting the cold plate center towards the CPU hotspot ensures more efficient heat transfer
- INTEGRATED VRM FAN: PWM-controlled fan that lowers the temperature of the voltage converters and thus ensures reliable performance
- INTEGRATED CABLE MANAGEMENT: The PWM cables of the radiator fans are integrated in the sheathing of the hoses so that only a single visible cable is connected to the motherboard
Front mount
Check how much space the radiator assembly leaves for the GPU. For the DeepCool CC360 WH ARGB, DeepCool lists a 320mm maximum GPU length; a front radiator may make the available space more restrictive depending on the build. Verify the clearance for your exact radiator, fans and graphics card rather than assuming the listed GPU limit remains unchanged with a radiator installed.
Other positions
Limits can change even between less common locations within the same case. Lian Li lists 360mm support at the front, top and above the PSU chamber in the LANCOOL III, with position-specific total-thickness limits: 40–100mm for front scenarios, 75mm at the top and 80mm above the PSU chamber. See Lian Li’s LANCOOL III specifications. These figures apply to that case and its stated mounting scenarios.

Case examples: support is model-specific
| Case | Published radiator support or constraint | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| NZXT H7 Flow | Up to 360mm at the top and front; 57mm maximum recommended radiator-plus-fan thickness at the top, according to NZXT Support. Publication date is not shown on the reviewed FAQ page. | Top clearance around RAM and motherboard heatsinks; GPU clearance with a front radiator. NZXT Support. |
| DeepCool CC360 WH ARGB | 360mm front and 240mm top; maximum GPU length listed as 320mm. DeepCool, 2023. | Top support does not accommodate a 360mm radiator; check the effect of a front assembly on GPU space. DeepCool. |
| Lian Li LANCOOL III | 360mm or 420mm at the front and top; the product page lists 40–100mm for front scenarios and 75mm total thickness at the top. Above the PSU chamber, 360mm support has an 80mm maximum. Publication date is not shown on the reviewed page. | Match the thickness limit to the specific position and configuration. Lian Li. |
| Corsair AIR 5400 | 360mm radiator support listed at the top, front and bottom; Corsair also lists a dedicated chamber for an AIO or radiator up to 360mm. Further thickness limits are not stated in the cited product information. | Check the cooler’s dimensions and the exact assembly clearance for your chosen position. Corsair. |
| NZXT H6 (2026) | Up to 360mm at the top; maximum total radiator length 400mm and maximum top radiator-plus-fan thickness 67mm. NZXT Support, 2026. | Both total length and combined thickness matter, even when the nominal 360mm size is supported. NZXT Support. |
| Fractal Design Mood | Maximum radiator size is 280mm, so it does not support a 360mm radiator. Fractal Design Support also lists a 328mm maximum radiator length and limits radiators longer than 178mm to 67mm radiator-plus-fan thickness because of PSU interference. Fractal Design Support, 2024. | A case can have both a radiator-size ceiling and separate length and combined-thickness constraints. Fractal Design Support. |
How to confirm your specific build
- Find the exact case model and revision, then locate its manual or manufacturer specification page.
- Record the maximum radiator size for your desired mounting position, plus any maximum radiator length, width or radiator-plus-fan thickness.
- Get the AIO’s radiator dimensions and fan thickness from its manufacturer. Compare the full assembly with the case limits.
- Check RAM and motherboard heatsinks for a top mount, or remaining GPU length for a front mount. Check PSU and drive hardware if they share space with the radiator.
- After confirming physical clearance, plan a tube route that avoids sharp bends and keeps the radiator higher in the loop than the pump where the layout allows.
If the case maker does not state a combined thickness limit or a clearance for your particular layout, do not treat nominal 360mm support as proof that the AIO will fit. Confirm with the case manufacturer or use the exact assembly dimensions to assess the available space.
