Malwarebytes says it blocks byrutor.org because the domain is associated with a Trojan. Its detection record describes the site as a Russian game-download site that is also used to distribute malware. Treat the alert as a reason not to download or run files from the site, then scan your device.
Why is Malwarebytes blocking byrutor.org?
Malwarebytes’ detection record states: “The domain byrutor.org was blocked by Malwarebytes because it was associated with a Trojan.” The record identifies the domain as a Russian site offering game downloads that is also used to distribute malware, and says Malwarebytes blocked it.

This is a domain-level warning from Malwarebytes. It does not, by itself, establish that a particular file was downloaded or that your device is infected. It does mean you should avoid the site and its downloads rather than bypassing the warning.

What to do after a Website Blocked alert
- Stop interacting with the site. Do not download or run files from byrutor.org while the alert is active.
- Run a Malwarebytes Threat Scan. Use the scan options available in your installed product.
- Quarantine detections. Follow Malwarebytes’ prompts, including restarting the device if requested.
- Escalate persistent symptoms. If suspicious behavior continues after scanning, collect diagnostic logs and contact Malwarebytes Support. Its Website Blocked guidance recommends scanning and explains how to seek help.
Should you remove the block?
Usually, no. Allow-listing byrutor.org would override the protection for a domain Malwarebytes associates with a Trojan, so it is not a routine fix for the alert. If you have a specific troubleshooting reason and accept the risk, Malwarebytes documents this Windows workflow on its detection page:

- Open Detection History.
- Select Allow List, then click Add.
- Choose Allow a website, then Add a URL.
- Enter the domain and click Done.
Only use an exclusion when you understand that it permits access despite the warning. Removing an exclusion later restores the block.
Is the warning the same as a cracked-software detection?
No. Malwarebytes describes RiskWare.DontStealOurSoftware as a detection for tools or cracked versions used to access paid Malwarebytes features without payment. That is a separate detection; it is not evidence that byrutor.org received that specific label.
