Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →First determine what stopped: the playlist may have reached its last tour video, the live broadcast may have ended, or a video may have stalled during playback. Those are different problems with different fixes. If you are watching a playlist, turn on its Loop control; if the live event itself ends, check whether the video source is still sending and inspect the broadcast’s auto-stop setting.
Ask yourself: Does the playlist stop, or does the live broadcast end?
Identify which part stopped
- Playlist playback: You are watching a playlist and playback stops or moves away after a tour clip. Check whether it reached the last item and whether Loop is enabled. YouTube’s player API says playlist looping is off by default. Google for Developers’ IFrame Player API Reference.
- Broadcast termination: The live event ends while it is carrying tour footage. Check the incoming video source and the broadcast’s controls. YouTube documents encoder-based streaming and an auto-stop setting for broadcasts. YouTube’s live-streaming guide.
- Playback fault: A clip stalls or buffers before it finishes, possibly on only one device. Treat that as a playback or connection problem rather than assuming the playlist or live broadcast ended. YouTube’s troubleshooting guide.
If you are watching a playlist
When playback stops at the final tour clip, enable Loop so the playlist starts again from its first item. YouTube provides instructions for repeating playlists on computer, mobile, TV, and gaming-console playback; the exact control location depends on the device. Follow the steps in YouTube’s “Loop videos or playlists on YouTube” help page.
If the playlist is embedded in a custom player, check that player’s configuration instead. The YouTube IFrame Player API documents a loop setting; when looping is enabled, the player returns to the first item after the last one. Looping is off by default. See the IFrame Player API Reference.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
If the live broadcast itself ends
A playlist’s repeat control does not keep a live broadcast active. For an encoder-based live stream, the source must continue sending video to YouTube. Check that the computer, encoder, or other production source is still running and that the correct live stream is bound to the broadcast. YouTube describes encoder streaming in its live-streaming setup guide.
Check the auto-stop setting
YouTube’s LiveBroadcasts API describes enableAutoStop as a setting that ends a broadcast around one minute after the channel owner stops sending video to the bound live stream. That documented timing makes the setting relevant if your source feed stops, but it does not prove that auto-stop caused a particular broadcast to end. Check the broadcast configuration and source-feed status together. See LiveBroadcasts and Life of a Broadcast.

Do not confuse Live Redirect with continuous playback
Live Redirect can start a Premiere after a live stream ends; it is not documented as a way to keep a live broadcast running through an arbitrary playlist. YouTube’s guide says the stream must end before the Premiere begins. See Set up Live Redirect in the Live Control Room.
If a video stalls before the playlist ends
- Try another connection or device. This helps identify whether the issue is limited to one network or playback device.
- Restart or update the YouTube app or browser. If the problem is in an app, use YouTube’s applicable app troubleshooting steps, including clearing its cache where available.
- Adjust playback quality manually. If the video is buffering, test a lower quality setting where the player offers one.
These are playback diagnostics, not fixes for a broadcast whose live event has ended. YouTube lists these checks in Troubleshoot streaming and video issues.
