A rattle when you shake or tap the phone is also a different symptom from the phone rocking on a desk. Sony says that on applicable phones, movable OIS lens components can produce a rattle and that this may be expected when the device has not been abused. Neither source says OIS causes desk wobble. When should you contact the manufacturer?
Seek model-specific manufacturer support if the phone was recently dropped, looks visibly bent, or its camera no longer focuses or stabilizes properly. Those symptoms need a device-specific assessment; the contact points and movement alone cannot diagnose a phone.
