Their strongest practical value is connecting presentation work to the sales workflow—personalization, approved content, team review and follow-up—not proving that AI slides alone close more deals. The seller still needs to verify the claims and shape the story.
How AI can help sales teams create presentations
Traditional slide work often means gathering information from several places, adapting a familiar deck and checking that the result matches the prospect’s needs. AI-enabled presentation products aim to compress the drafting and assembly stages by accepting prompts or sales materials as inputs.

Start with sales material, not a blank slide
Pitch says its product can generate slides from prompts, refine narratives and answer questions about a deck. Presentations.AI describes turning discovery notes, RFPs, product sheets and prospect information into sales presentations or account-review decks. These are vendor-described capabilities, not independent findings about accuracy or time saved. Pitch product details; Presentations.AI sales presentation software.
For a rep, the useful distinction is between generating a generic outline and grounding a draft in relevant material: the prospect’s priorities, the product’s supported capabilities and the approved company story. The more consequential the claim—pricing, compliance, performance or a promised outcome—the more important it is to trace it to a reliable source before the deck reaches a buyer.

Personalize the argument, not just the cover slide
Personalization is more than inserting a company name. A tailored deck should connect the buyer’s stated problem to relevant product evidence, a suitable use case and a sensible next step. Pitch describes using CRM, call-note and product-usage context; Presentations.AI says it can use prospect information and discovery materials. IBM’s broader account of AI sales enablement likewise includes tailored proposals and pitch decks, contextual recommendations and surfacing relevant content during a sales interaction. These broader capabilities may be part of an enablement system rather than the presentation generator itself. IBM’s overview of AI in sales enablement.
Can AI make a personalized sales deck from call notes?
It can help create a first-pass deck from call notes when the tool accepts that material, but a generated presentation is not automatically a reliable record of what the buyer said. Notes may be incomplete, ambiguous or outdated; a model can also omit a key qualification or present an inference as fact. Use AI to organize and draft, then have the account owner check whether the narrative reflects the conversation and whether every product statement is supported.
- Prepare the source material. Use the approved discovery notes and current product information relevant to this opportunity; remove confidential details the tool is not authorized to process.
- Give a focused brief. State the audience, the business problem, the intended meeting outcome and any required brand or content rules.
- Review the story before the slides. Confirm that the sequence answers the buyer’s needs rather than merely reproducing the order of the notes.
- Verify specifics. Check features, integrations, pricing, security statements, customer examples and quantified claims against approved sources.
- Adapt and approve the final deck. Make edits in the team’s supported slide format and follow the organization’s review process before sharing.
What matters beyond fast generation
A sales deck is a team asset and a buyer-facing communication, so the best fit depends on the whole workflow rather than the initial prompt alone.

| Evaluation area | What to check |
|---|---|
| Inputs and grounding | Can it use approved product material and relevant CRM or call context? Can users see what sources informed a claim? |
| Brand and reusable content | Can administrators set shared styles, approved templates and reusable content, and do those controls hold up in real edits? |
| Accuracy and approvals | Can reviewers check factual claims, permissions and required approvals before a deck is sent? |
| Editable output | Does it export to the presentation software the team actually uses, with content still editable? |
| Workflow integrations | Does it fit CRM, meeting intelligence, call-note and content workflows, or require manual copying? |
| Collaboration and versions | Can colleagues comment, review changes and identify the current approved version? |
| Sharing and analytics | Is the buyer’s viewing experience straightforward, and do engagement signals help a rep plan a relevant follow-up? |
| Privacy and controls | Do retention, access, data-use and enterprise controls meet the organization’s requirements? |
| Pilot value | Does measured time saved and useful adoption justify setup, review and ongoing administration? |
Pitch describes shared styles and brand libraries, collaboration, CRM and call-note context, buyer-facing sharing and analytics such as whether a deck was opened and which slides attracted attention. Presentations.AI describes a brand kit, editable PowerPoint or Google Slides output, and says it is SOC 2 Type II certified and does not use private client data or sales strategies to train public models. Those security statements are the vendor’s; check current terms, configuration and controls against your organization’s requirements. Pitch product details; Presentations.AI sales presentation software.
An opened deck or a slide viewed for longer can guide a thoughtful follow-up, but it does not establish buyer intent. Treat analytics as a clue to ask a better question, not as proof that an opportunity is advancing.
What reported AI adoption and sales results do—and don’t—show
Allego’s July 23, 2025 report announcement says its survey of 346 B2B revenue enablement leaders found that 81% of surveyed teams used AI to create content such as sales presentations and emails in 2025, compared with 28% in 2024. The measure covers content creation across revenue enablement; it is not an adoption estimate for presentation software alone. Allego’s 2025 AI in Revenue Enablement report announcement.

The same Allego summary says 47% of surveyed leaders reported that AI had already boosted revenue, while 51% reported shorter sales cycles and faster onboarding. These are respondents’ reported outcomes, not controlled causal estimates and not results attributed specifically to AI-generated decks. Allego CEO and co-founder Yuchun Lee called AI in sales and marketing “now a strategic advantage”; that is his opinion as a vendor executive, not independent proof of effectiveness. IBM describes sales teams anticipating an increase in NPS from 16% in 2024 to 51% by 2026 through AI-enabled engagement and support. That is a forward-looking projection reported by IBM, not an observed outcome or a presentation-tool-specific result. IBM’s overview of AI in sales enablement.
Boston Consulting Group’s 2024 discussion reports an AI sales-assistant example involving 30–40 new cross-sell leads per sales representative per month, an expected 3–5% EBITDA increase in pilot regions based on initial pilot indicators, and 98% of anonymous surveyed sales-representative responses rating the tool or logic as meeting or exceeding expectations. Those figures concern a sales-assistant example, not a presentation generator. They should not be used to imply that AI decks produce those outcomes. Do AI-generated sales presentations actually close more deals?
The sources cited here do not establish that presentation software by itself increases win rates, deal size or sales-cycle speed. They describe product features, broad surveys and other AI sales-enablement examples, which are not a controlled test of AI-generated presentations. A deck can make information easier to prepare and share; whether that changes a deal depends on the offer, buyer needs, sales execution and many other factors.
Salesforce recommends assessing AI enablement in terms of workflow and CRM embedding, contextual content recommendations, meeting intelligence and program analytics, then piloting against relevant KPIs such as win rate and ramp speed. That is an evaluation approach, not a guarantee that a tool will improve those measures. Salesforce’s AI sales enablement guide.
How to run a useful pilot
Compare the AI-assisted workflow with the team’s existing process, using a consistent baseline and a defined group of decks or opportunities. Track the work and the outcome separately so a faster draft is not mistaken for a better sales result.

- Time to first draft: Measure the time from receiving usable inputs to a reviewable draft, not just the tool’s generation time.
- Editing and review burden: Record the time spent correcting errors, restoring missing context, applying brand rules and obtaining approval.
- Usage and repeat use: Check whether reps use the tool for appropriate opportunities after initial onboarding.
- Message accuracy: Review whether decks accurately reflect discovery, use approved product claims and avoid unsupported promises.
- Buyer engagement: Track relevant sharing and engagement signals, interpreting them as activity rather than intent.
- CRM outcomes: Compare suitable opportunity measures with a baseline over a defined period, while accounting for differences in deal mix and other changes.
Set success criteria before the pilot. If drafting is faster but the review burden rises, the workflow may not save time overall. If use is high but message accuracy suffers, tighten source controls or approval steps before expanding deployment.
When the tool is—and isn’t—a good fit
Likely useful
- Reps repeatedly adapt a common presentation for different accounts and can draw on approved, current source material.
- Teams need consistent branding and a reviewable, editable handoff rather than a one-off slide image.
- Sales leaders want to connect content creation and follow-up more closely to CRM or meeting context.
Needs caution
- The pitch relies on precise technical, legal, pricing or security claims that are not maintained in approved sources.
- Call notes or customer data cannot be shared with the service under company policy or applicable agreements.
- The organization cannot define an accountable reviewer or measure whether the new process improves on its baseline.
AI can make the assembly of a sales presentation more connected and repeatable. The practical case is strongest when the team can ground drafts in approved material, review them efficiently and measure the workflow honestly; claims of better sales outcomes need evidence beyond tool features or broad AI surveys.
