No. 7plus says its programs are available only from within Australia because of broadcast rights restrictions. It also says it does not support VPNs, proxies or location spoofing as ways to access the service overseas. If you are outside Australia, check whether the program you want is licensed to a broadcaster in your country rather than trying to bypass 7plus’s location controls.
Why 7plus is unavailable overseas
7plus ties access to location because its broadcast rights are geographically restricted. Its support guidance states that content is available only within Australia. Seven Network’s terms likewise require users to be in Australia to access its media, and say certain sports or special events may be limited to an authorised state or territory. The terms also prohibit attempts to circumvent geo-blocking or other technical or security measures. Seven Network terms (search result reports an update dated 4 June 2024).

An Australian account or an app already installed on your device does not change the stated location requirement. 7plus does not present VPNs, proxy services or location spoofing as supported overseas-access methods.
Can a VPN or proxy unblock 7plus?
7plus says it does not support VPNs, proxies or location spoofing. Its troubleshooting instructions instead advise disabling tools that interfere with location verification. Seven’s terms also prohibit circumvention of geo-blocking and other technical measures. For those reasons, this article cannot recommend or promise a VPN or proxy as a way to watch 7plus abroad.

If you are in Australia and location verification fails
A “We couldn’t verify your location” message while you are physically in Australia is a location-check problem to troubleshoot; it does not change the overseas-access restriction. Follow 7plus’s location troubleshooting guidance:
- Enable location permissions for the browser or app in your device settings.
- Turn off VPN or proxy services, and disable extensions or other tools that alter or interfere with location data.
- If you are watching on a connected TV and using another device for verification, connect both devices to the same network if required.
If verification still fails, consult 7plus Support for help with your device and connection.

Why a match may be unavailable in one part of Australia
Being in Australia does not guarantee that every program or match is available in every region. 7plus says it uses location to provide the relevant schedule, including AFL matches that vary by region. Its FAQ notes that some regionally restricted matches may be inaccessible without location sharing, while other sports and entertainment remain available. Check the program’s listing and the service’s location settings if a particular event is missing.

Availability outside Australia depends on the rights for the specific program and country; 7plus’s location restriction does not establish where else a title can be streamed. Check the title’s official rights-holder or broadcaster in your country, and verify the current listing for that program and territory. Sports and entertainment rights can differ and change over time.
