Start by checking which account you are signed into, then ask the person who gave you the account or your organization’s IT contact. Google does not identify an individual administrator for end users.
First, confirm you’re using your organization account
Check the address shown in the Google service where you need help. A work or school account is set up through an organization and commonly uses an address such as [email protected], rather than one ending in @gmail.com. Organizations can manage which Google products users can access and how those products work. See Google’s explanation of work, school, and other managed accounts.

If you have more than one Google account signed in, make sure you are using the address your organization issued. Settings and available products can differ between a personal account and an organization-managed account.

- Start with the person who issued your account. Check your welcome message or onboarding instructions, or contact the person who gave you the username.
- At a larger organization, contact IT or the help desk. Tell them the account address and what you need help with, such as a password reset or access to a product.
- At a small business, club, or school without an IT team, ask who manages its email service or website. That person may be responsible for the organization’s Google account administration.
These are practical contact suggestions from a Google Workspace Admin Community discussion. Google’s community guidance says it cannot identify the particular administrator for an end user.

Why the Admin console won’t identify your administrator
The Google Admin console is for people who have administrator accounts; it is not a public directory where ordinary users can look up their organization’s administrator. Google’s instructions say to sign in to the Admin console with an administrator account. If you do not have administrator access, ask someone in your organization who does.
When can you contact Google Workspace support?
Google’s Workspace support instructions are aimed at administrators. Contacting support through the Admin console requires the Support administrator privilege, and the support options available depend on the organization’s subscription. See Google Workspace Admin Help’s contact guidance.
For an account or product issue as a regular user, contact your organization’s administrator or help desk first. They can determine whether the issue is controlled by an organizational setting or needs to be raised with Google.

If you own the organization but cannot access its administrator account
Owning a business or domain does not by itself give you access to the Google Admin console; you need a working administrator login. Use Google’s current official administrator support guidance to find the options available for your subscription. The support instructions require the relevant administrator privilege for contact through the console. The available guidance here does not establish a guaranteed recovery outcome or timeline, so do not assume that proof of business or domain ownership will immediately restore access.
