Rowan Freemaker is a Force-sensitive young scavenger and the central hero of the animated LEGO series LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures. He is 12 when the story begins. After discovering the Kyber Saber, he and his siblings are drawn into the conflict between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire.
Who is Rowan Freemaker?
Rowan is the youngest Freemaker sibling and a gifted pilot who helps his family salvage wreckage and build starships. His discovery of the Kyber Saber—a powerful ancient artifact—reveals his connection to the Force and changes the course of the family’s adventures. Lucasfilm describes the series as a story about Rowan discovering both the artifact and his own Force connection (Lucasfilm’s series page).

Yes. Rowan is Force-sensitive, though his story is not part of a live-action saga film. The Kyber Saber brings his abilities and potential into focus, while the series follows him learning what that connection means as he faces danger with his family.

What is The Freemaker Adventures about?
The Freemakers are scavengers: they recover debris from battles, then build or sell ships from what they find. Rowan’s discovery of the Kyber Saber pulls the family into the wider struggle between the Rebellion and the Empire. The series uses LEGO animation and adventure-comedy storytelling, with the siblings’ family dynamic at its center.
When does Rowan’s story take place?
The Freemaker Adventures is set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, according to StarWars.com’s 2016 announcement (StarWars.com). It adds a story in the original-trilogy era rather than placing Rowan among the main characters of the saga films.
Where can you watch Rowan Freemaker?
Lucasfilm’s official series page currently says “Stream now on Disney+” (Lucasfilm). That listing does not establish availability in every country; check the service’s catalog in your region.

For physical media, StarWars.com announced a Season 1 Blu-ray and DVD release with all 13 episodes and bonus features, dated December 6, 2016 (release announcement). LEGO’s retired product page describes a Region 1, two-disc DVD box set with the 13 first-season episodes, extras, and six magnets (LEGO DVD product page). These are historical release details, not confirmation of current stock; verify the format, region compatibility, condition, and availability before buying.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which LEGO set includes Rowan?
The retired LEGO Star Wars Tracker I set, number 75185, is the clearest Rowan-specific set. LEGO lists Rowan among its included figures, alongside Emperor Palpatine and the M-OC Hunter Droid, and describes the set as a 557-piece build for ages 8–14 (LEGO Tracker I page). Those are the set’s original specifications, not a statement about current stock or the contents of every resale listing. Confirm the figures and pieces with the seller.
The retired Arrowhead set, number 75186, is also tied to the series, but LEGO’s included-figure list names Zander, Kordi, Quarrie, a Stormtrooper, and R0-GR—not Rowan (LEGO Arrowhead page). It is a Freemaker set, but not the better choice if Rowan himself is the priority.
