Larson Conway is a hired mercenary who works for Jacqueline Natla. In the original story, he contacts Lara to draw her into the search for the Scion, an ancient artifact. He and fellow mercenary Pierre Dupont work for Natla and share her plan to betray Lara.

Crystal Dynamics Game Director Raul Siqueira describes Larson as a brute, while the official feature characterizes him as gruff, gritty and swaggering. His confidence can make him underestimate Lara, setting him up as both an antagonist and a foil to her abilities.

What is Larson’s relationship with Lara?
Larson is not simply a hired opponent in the forthcoming Legacy of Atlantis portrayal. Lara performer Alix Wilton Regan says that version of Lara has a bit of a crush on Larson, and that he has a bit of a crush on her. Regan also describes him as close to Lara’s equal in capability in that game, though prone to mistakes. These comments refer to the announced version, not necessarily every portrayal of the character.

What changes in Larson’s announced Legacy of Atlantis portrayal?
Crystal Dynamics’ October 5, 2026 feature presents Larson as a gritty, swaggering mercenary whose connection with Lara has a flirtatious edge. Siqueira says that in this version Larson’s shotgun is obtained when he is defeated. This is a detail about the announced Legacy of Atlantis game, not a general description of every appearance.
