How to choose a survey graph maker
Start with the job you need the software to do. These tools cover different parts of the process: collecting responses, turning existing data into charts, or presenting results to stakeholders. A chart plugin is not necessarily a survey builder, and embedding a hosted survey is not the same as installing a WordPress plugin.

WPForms: a WordPress route for surveys and charted reports

The page also names employee engagement surveys as a possible use case.
This makes it a plausible option for an organization that wants to publish results on its own site rather than send colleagues to a separate dashboard. The feature page also says responses can connect to third-party services, but it does not establish which integrations or survey features are available on each plan. Check the current product details before choosing a plan or designing an integration around a particular feature.

Visualizer: chart survey data you already have
Visualizer is relevant if the survey has already been run and the responses are available as a CSV. The WordPress.org plugin listing describes uploading survey-response data and generating a chart in WordPress.
The cited listing supports a charting workflow, not the assumption that Visualizer also builds a survey form or collects responses. If you choose it, confirm that your exported file and the chart you need are supported by the current plugin. The listing also promotes AI-assisted chart creation; its availability and implementation details should be checked on the live listing rather than assumed.

SurveyMonkey: hosted analysis and dashboards for HR stakeholders
SurveyMonkey is the hosted option in this comparison. Its Results Dashboards documentation describes adding charts from survey questions, changing their layout, rearranging them, adding text cards, publishing a dashboard, and sharing it by link. Text cards can help place context alongside charts when colleagues need more than a visual alone.
The same documentation states that most plans can add up to 20 supported questions to a dashboard and Enterprise can add up to 40. These are vendor-documented limits for supported questions, not universal limits on chart count; eligible question types and features also vary. Verify the current dashboard rules for the plan you intend to use.

For closed-ended questions, SurveyMonkey says it automatically generates charts and data tables, with chart types depending on the question type. Its chart customization documentation describes controls for colors, labels, displayed data values, and other presentation choices. The product page also describes filters, custom views, sharing, and export formats; these are vendor-described capabilities, not an independent assessment of how well the service compares with alternatives.
SurveyMonkey’s HR analysis materials identify use cases involving recruiting, the employee lifecycle, DEI metrics, and employee wellbeing. Those contexts may help an HR team evaluate the fit, but they do not make the service the right choice for every organization. Consider whether stakeholders need filtered views, exports, explanatory notes, or a link they can open without working inside the survey itself.

Using a hosted survey with WordPress
SurveyMonkey’s WordPress guide explains how to embed a hosted survey in a post or page and says the service is not listed in the official WordPress plugin directory. That is an embedded survey workflow: it does not mean SurveyMonkey is a native WordPress survey plugin.
The guide establishes embedding a survey, not embedding a SurveyMonkey results dashboard on a WordPress page. If the requirement is to publish charts within WordPress, use a tool whose documentation covers that display method, or confirm dashboard embedding separately before committing to the hosted workflow.
What HR teams should check before selecting a tool
Choosing chart types is only one part of preparing employee survey results for use. Match the tool to how the team will review, interpret, and share responses.
