These are older models documented in 2020–2021 sources, not a verified list of phones currently sold new in India in October 2026. Treat them as models to check in current listings, and confirm stock, condition and warranty before buying.
Samsung phones with a documented 64MP main camera
The camera specifications below come from Samsung India product material and launch announcements. The list reflects the models documented in those sources; it is not a guarantee that Samsung has no other 64MP models or that these phones are currently available.

| Model | Rear camera details documented by Samsung | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy A71 | 64MP main camera with F1.8, as part of a quad-camera system. | An older A-series option; verify exact variant, condition and seller. Samsung announced its India launch on 19 February 2020. Samsung Newsroom India |
| Galaxy A52 | 64MP OIS main camera, 12MP ultrawide, 5MP bokeh and 5MP macro; Samsung also highlighted 4K Video Snap and camera modes. | OIS and ultrawide coverage are specified. | Galaxy A72 | 64MP OIS main camera, 12MP ultrawide, 8MP 3x telephoto and 5MP macro. | The dedicated telephoto lens provides a distinct optical-reach option compared with the A52 specification. Samsung Newsroom India |
| Galaxy M52 5G | 64MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro. | The launch announcement establishes the camera set, not present-day stock. Samsung Newsroom India |

Which model should you choose?
Start with the exact features you need rather than the 64MP label. Samsung specifies optical image stabilization (OIS) on both the A52 and A72. The A72 additionally has a dedicated 3x telephoto camera, which may matter if you often photograph distant subjects. That specification does not establish that it produces better overall photos than the A52.
For any models you can actually buy, compare independent camera samples made in similar conditions. Check daylight and low-light photos, ultrawide results, video resolution and stabilization, and whether the reviewer tested the same regional variant. Samsung’s specifications and promotional claims are not independent head-to-head image-quality tests.

- Choose by camera layout: OIS, ultrawide coverage and a dedicated telephoto lens serve different needs.
- Check the specific video features you use; do not assume two phones with the same megapixel count have equivalent video performance.
- Compare RAM and storage variant, network support and software-support status using current, model-specific information.
- Factor in whether the phone is new, used or refurbished, plus the seller, return terms and warranty.
- Judge the final price against the phone’s condition and alternatives available now, not its original launch price.
Check availability and listing details before buying
These models are old enough that a search result or archived launch announcement cannot establish that a particular unit is available today. Samsung’s A52 page has displayed “Not available in this combination,” and Samsung notes that model availability may vary by location. Check live retailer listings and Samsung’s own store for your location immediately before purchase.
- Confirm the exact model and variant in the listing, including storage and RAM; do not rely on a shortened product title.
- Check whether the unit is new, used or refurbished, and read the stated warranty, return policy and seller identity.
- Verify network compatibility and software-support status for that exact model and region from current information.
- Compare recent independent camera samples for the models actually in stock, then weigh the asking price against condition and warranty.
Why the old launch prices are not buying advice
Samsung’s 2021 India launch announcement listed the Galaxy A52 at ₹26,499 for 6GB/128GB and ₹27,999 for 8GB/128GB. It listed the Galaxy A72 at ₹34,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹37,999 for 8GB/256GB. These are historical launch prices from 2021, not October 2026 prices or recommendations. Samsung Newsroom India, 19 March 2021
