The Motorola Edge 60 Pro has the stronger listed hardware for charging, display resolution and zoom: it specifies a 6,000mAh battery, 90W wired and 15W wireless charging, a 120Hz pOLED screen and a 3× optical-zoom telephoto camera. Samsung’s Galaxy A27 5G counters with a longer stated software-support commitment and a microSD slot on the cited India configuration. There is no verified, like-for-like price gap here: Samsung’s US listing showed $379.99 for the 128GB A27, while the Motorola specification page does not establish a current sale price.
Motorola Edge 60 Pro vs Galaxy A27 5G: specifications
This comparison uses Motorola’s US support specifications and Samsung’s India product listing. Those are different regional sources, not proof that every market sells the same configurations. Check the exact local model before buying; Motorola explicitly notes that specifications may vary by market, and Samsung says availability and update timing can vary by market and model.

Which phone has the better display?
Both specifications list a 120Hz refresh rate, so that figure alone does not distinguish them. Motorola specifies a 6.7-inch curved pOLED panel with a higher 2712 × 1220 resolution and HDR10+. Samsung lists a 1080 × 2340 FHD+ Super AMOLED panel. Choose the Edge 60 Pro if the listed resolution and curved design matter most; the A27’s listed display is also 120Hz, but its stated resolution is lower. The specifications do not establish which screen looks better in person.

Which has the better cameras?
The Edge 60 Pro has the more versatile listed rear-camera hardware for distant subjects: its 10MP telephoto camera has 3× optical zoom and OIS. Its main and ultrawide/macro cameras are each listed at 50MP. The A27 has a 50MP OIS main camera, plus 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro cameras, and up to 10× digital zoom. Optical and digital zoom are different, and pixel counts do not establish photo quality. No controlled side-by-side camera results are available here, so real-world image superiority is unverified.
Battery capacity and charging: what differs?
Motorola lists a 6000mAh battery, 90W wired charging, 15W wireless charging and 5W wired power sharing. Samsung lists a 5000mAh typical battery and “Super Fast Charging”; its India page also states up to 23 hours of video playback and up to 45% charge in 30 minutes. These are manufacturer claims, not results from a shared test. The listed capacities and charging options favor Motorola on paper, but they do not prove which phone lasts longer in everyday use.

Which phone gets longer software support?
Samsung’s India product page promises up to six OS upgrades and up to six years of security and maintenance releases. Motorola’s US support page lists three OS upgrades and four years of security maintenance releases. On those cited pages, Samsung states the longer commitment. Because the claims come from different regional pages and Samsung qualifies its terms by market and model, check the policy for the exact device sold where you live.

How much is the price difference?
A precise difference cannot be calculated from these listings. Samsung US showed the Galaxy A27 5G 128GB in Black for $379.99 when checked on October 7, 2026; that is a US listing and can change. The cited Motorola page is a specification page, not a current sale listing, so it does not provide a comparable Edge 60 Pro price. Compare current offers for both phones in the same country, currency, storage tier and sales channel before deciding which is cheaper. Samsung US Galaxy A27 5G buy listing.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if
- You want the listed 3× optical telephoto camera, higher-resolution curved display or wireless charging.
- You value the larger stated battery capacity and faster listed wired charging.
- You need the listed IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD-810H certification, while recognizing these are manufacturer specifications.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G if
- Longer stated OS and security support is your priority.
- You want microSD expansion on the cited India 128GB configuration.
- A current local listing makes it better value; the available US price alone cannot establish savings versus Motorola.
For processing speed, camera quality or actual battery endurance, the specifications do not settle the winner: those need comparable independent tests. Motorola’s figures are from its US support listing; Samsung’s device, configuration and support details are from its India product listing.
