Good Lock compatibility with One UI 9 is changing, so check for updates on your own Galaxy phone rather than relying on an old beta list. Samsung’s instructions explain how to update Good Lock and its modules; they do not say every user must update every module before installing One UI 9.
How to check for Good Lock module updates
- Open the Galaxy Store and search for Good Lock. Install or update Good Lock if the store offers it.
- Open Good Lock and check the modules available for your device. Download or update the modules you use from inside the app.
- To review an app’s update history, open its entry in Good Lock and view the history there.
Samsung notes that features may vary by software version and phone model. Availability in your own Galaxy Store and Good Lock app is therefore more useful than a general list. See Samsung’s Good Lock guide for its update instructions.

What Samsung initially listed for the One UI 9 beta
In a July 24, 2026 beta announcement, Samsung’s Good Lock development team divided modules into two groups. This was a beta snapshot, not a permanent compatibility guarantee or a current device-by-device chart.

Samsung cautioned that the lists could change during the beta. The distinction describes what the team announced at that time, not what is guaranteed to work now. Samsung’s beta announcement is in Korean; the compatibility categories above reflect its published list.

How the list changed after the beta announcement
On July 3, 2026, SamMobile reported that NavStar version 9.0.00.11 had added One UI 9 support. In that report, Game Booster+, Home Up, and NotiStar were the remaining unsupported plugins. That report is a dated update, not confirmation of their status on every model or in every region. See SamMobile’s NavStar report.
Together, the two snapshots show why the original beta categories should not be treated as a live compatibility chart. The cited information does not establish a complete, current module-by-module status across devices; check the actual listings on your phone.

Eligibility can vary by model and market; Samsung’s announcement does not mean every Galaxy device receives the update at the same time. See Samsung Mobile Press’s rollout announcement.
