How much more does iPhone Duo cost?
Using the cited U.S. listed starting prices, iPhone Duo costs $100 more: $1,999 compared with Pixel 11 Pro Fold at $1,899. This is arithmetic on those prices, not a guaranteed difference between what two buyers will pay. Google’s price is before eligible trade-in offers, and storage choices, promotions, trade-in value, and taxes can change the checkout total. Check the current price for the storage tier and market you intend to buy.
Which phone has the bigger displays?
Pixel 11 Pro Fold has the larger published diagonal measurements: a 6.5-inch outer display and an 8-inch inner display, versus 5.4 inches and 7.6 inches on iPhone Duo. Both list refresh rates up to 120 Hz. Google specifies peak brightness up to 3600 nits; Apple specifies peak outdoor brightness of 3000 nits. Because those brightness descriptions may use different measurement conditions, the figures should not be treated as a direct brightness test.

Apple describes a nano-texture finish and crease-minimizing design for iPhone Duo. Those are Apple’s design claims, not independent measurements of reflectivity or crease visibility. Diagonal size also does not by itself determine how comfortable either cover screen is to use one-handed; if possible, try the folded phones in person.
What is different about the cameras?
Pixel’s listed rear setup separates three camera roles: a 48 MP wide camera, 10.5 MP ultrawide, and 10.8 MP 5x telephoto. Google lists Super Zoom up to 30x. iPhone Duo has a 48 MP dual-camera system and lists up to 2x optical-quality zoom. The specifications make Pixel the one with a dedicated 5x telephoto and explicitly listed ultrawide camera.

Those hardware details do not establish which phone produces better photos or video. The cited product materials do not provide a controlled comparison of image quality, low-light performance, stabilization, or zoom results.
Battery claims are not an apples-to-apples test
Google lists Pixel’s typical battery capacity as 4,806 mAh and claims 24+ hours of battery life. Apple describes iPhone Duo playback figures of up to 31 hours on the inner display and up to 44 hours on the outer display. The figures use different formats and conditions, so they cannot establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use.

Charging claims also differ: Google says Pixel can reach 50% in about 30 minutes using a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher, while Apple says iPhone Duo can reach 50% in around 20 minutes with wired charging. Google lists Qi2.2 wireless charging up to 25W; Apple lists MagSafe and Qi2 support. The cited Apple materials do not state a corresponding wireless charging wattage here.

Choose Pixel if Google’s ecosystem and larger screen suit you
Google lists Tensor G6 and 16 GB of RAM, and describes Gemini features and foldable multitasking functions. Its larger listed inner and outer displays may better fit a preference for more screen area, while its camera specification includes dedicated ultrawide and 5x telephoto hardware. Those are feature-based reasons to consider Pixel, not evidence that it is faster or takes better pictures.
Choose iPhone Duo if you want Apple’s software and services
Apple lists the A20 Pro chip and iOS 27, including Split View and adaptations for foldable apps. If you already rely on iOS apps, Apple services, or an Apple-centered workflow, software continuity may matter more than the differences in screen dimensions or camera layout. The cited sources do not establish a measured speed winner between the chips.
What is known about durability?
Google and Apple both list IP68 protection. Google also claims Pixel 11 Pro Fold is three times more durable than its previous model, citing a new hinge and materials. Apple lists a titanium frame and hinge cover along with Ceramic Shield materials. These manufacturer statements do not provide a directly comparable independent fold-cycle or drop test, and they do not establish long-term hinge reliability. IP68 is a protection rating, not proof that either foldable is immune to damage.
When can you buy them?
Google announced Pixel 11 Pro Fold on August 12, 2026, with U.S. retail availability beginning August 20. Apple introduced iPhone Duo on September 9, 2026; Apple says U.S. preorders begin October 16 and retail availability begins October 23, 2026. Local dates and availability can differ, so check the manufacturer’s store for your country.
