In the United States, Peacock lists streaming pages for all three screen versions of The Grinch: the 1966 animated special, the 2000 live-action film, and the 2018 animated film. Where you can watch them depends on which version you mean and where you live; these listings are dated snapshots, not a worldwide guarantee.
Which Grinch are you looking for?
“The Grinch” can mean three different titles. Check the year before choosing a service:

- 1966: How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, the animated television special.
- 2000: How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the live-action film.
- 2018: The Grinch, the Illumination animated film.
Peacock has an official page for each version. A listing for one does not establish that the other two are available on the same service in your country.

What the UK listing shows

Why availability depends on your country
Streaming rights and service catalogs vary by location and can change over time. Peacock’s terms say content availability may vary by place and change, and restrict access to people outside the United States, including its territories and possessions. Its terms state: “You may not access or use the Peacock Service if you are outside of the United States (including its territories and possessions).” The US Peacock pages therefore do not establish that viewers abroad can watch these titles on Peacock.

For the most useful answer, check the specific film year against services available in your country, and distinguish a subscription listing from a one-time rental or purchase. If you want a physical copy of the 2000 film, verify the exact edition and live inventory before ordering.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Will a VPN let you stream The Grinch from another country?
Do not count on a VPN to unlock a particular version or foreign catalog. Netflix says each country has its own catalog, and using a VPN limits viewing to titles available in all regions. Its help guidance says viewers may need to turn off a VPN to see titles available in their region. Netflix also notes that selection, audio, and subtitle options can vary by country when watching away from home.
Peacock’s terms prohibit access from outside the United States, so this article does not recommend using a VPN to bypass that restriction. A VPN connection can also cause access errors: NordVPN’s support page documents Netflix error cases and advises users to follow applicable law and streaming-service terms. That is provider support guidance, not independent testing or a guarantee that any VPN will work.
