The original Pokémon Legends: Z-A preorder period is over. The current preorder is for Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension, a physical bundle scheduled for October 29, 2026. Nintendo lists one confirmed bonus: a code for 100 Ultra Balls inside the physical bundle. That is a purchase bonus, not a verified retailer-exclusive gift.
What you can preorder now
The upcoming product is Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension. The Pokémon Company announced its release for October 29, 2026. The bundle includes the Switch 2 Edition and the Mega Dimension expansion on one game card, with the same content as buying those two items separately. The Pokémon Company’s announcement also says that owners of the Switch 2 Edition can get Mega Dimension separately instead of buying the bundle. You need to finish the main story before playing the expansion’s story.

The Switch 2 Edition is for Nintendo Switch 2 hardware. Nintendo describes enhanced performance, resolution and frame rates for that edition. If you do not own a Switch 2, check the platform and edition details carefully before ordering; the bundle is not a substitute for the required console.

Nintendo’s US listing says the physical bundle contains an insert with a code for 100 Ultra Balls. Nintendo’s product listing presents this as a physical-version purchase bonus. The available official information does not establish a separate gift exclusive to a particular retailer for this 2026 bundle.

- Edition and platform: Confirm the listing is for the Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle, not the original game or a separate DLC purchase.
- Physical or digital: Nintendo’s 100 Ultra Balls code is confirmed for the physical bundle; do not assume another format has the same offer.
- Bonus terms: Look for the item or in-game content named on the retailer’s current product page, and check whether it appears in the cart.
- Availability and fulfilment: Check stock, shipping dates, pickup options and delivery charges at checkout.
- Price and region: Compare the final price and eligibility in your own country. The historical UK promotions are not evidence of US availability.

No. Pokémon Center’s gift-with-purchase promotion and GameStop’s original-game offers relate to the 2025 preorder period. GameStop’s old listing mentions an early-purchase Ralts holding a Gardevoirite and a separate eShop code offer that expired in February/March 2026; neither is a current incentive for the October 2026 bundle. GameStop’s original-game listing is historical context, not confirmation of a new offer. The Pokémon Center promotion was also tied to the original game: The Pokémon Company’s 2025 announcement does not establish that it remains active.
