Community guides report eight breathing trainers in Slayers 2, spread across the game’s villages and remote areas. The quickest way to find them is to use the route cues below, activate shrines as you pass, and check the trainer’s live dialogue: community maps are not official directories, and some names, locations, and training costs differ between reports.
Where are the eight breathing trainers?
The names and routes below are community-reported, not official game documentation. Most routes appear in more than one trainer guide, but Stone and Thunder locations have notable uncertainty. Use the nearest landmark and terrain cue rather than relying on a name alone.

| Style | Reported trainer | Where to look | Route challenge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Serpent | Obari | Cliffs north of or above Windy Peak, overlooking the starting village. | Climb the cliffs. |
| Insect | Shinora | At Butterfly Estate, on the central building’s lower roof. Another guide places the trainer on a roof behind the respawn crystal. | Check the roofs near the estate’s central building and respawn crystal. |
| Flame | Rengu | On the roof of the house beside the long red bridge out of Mistfall Harbor. | Climb to the roof. |
| Thunder | Zentaro | At the highest peak above Hidden Mist Village, along the path past the bear area. | Wall Climb is reported as needed. Trainer guides differ on some details of this location and the NPC’s name. |
| Stone | Gyorei | Stone Sanctuary, down the lower path from the bear area near Hidden Mist. | The location is still being confirmed by one guide. |
| Sound | Tengai | On a small island in Iceveil Valley, north of the shrine. | Snow in the area is reported to cause health loss. |
| Wind | Saneri | On a platform in the water in Iceveil Valley; follow the fallen tree from the shrine. | Follow the fallen tree to the water platform. |
| Water | Urokodaki | In a hidden underwater passage by the waterfall near Bamboo Grove. Find the small island house and swim through the flooded opening beside it. | Swim through the underwater opening. |

How should you prepare for training routes?
- Reach level 25: One trainer guide recommends this before attempting breathing training; it is a guide recommendation, not a confirmed universal unlock requirement.
- Bring Wall Climb: The Thunder route specifically calls for it, and climbing ability helps with cliff and rooftop routes.
- Manage stamina and healing: Climbing can take careful stamina use. The Sound route enters snowy Iceveil, where a map guide reports health loss; bring healing and check the live game for any cold-protection mechanic.
- Activate shrines: Community map guides describe shrines as fast-travel points. Unlock one when passing through if the map offers it, to reduce backtracking.
- Check trainer dialogue before collecting materials: Published costs conflict, so no single material total can be treated as guaranteed.
A locations database reports that Windy Peak’s shrine became free and auto-unlocked in the September 19, 2026 v.07 hotfix. That is a time-sensitive patch detail; check the current game rather than assuming the same behavior remains.

Where are the other useful quest, merchant, and utility NPCs?
These reported locations can help you combine errands with a trainer trip. The early Windy Peak names are inconsistent across community sources, so verify the NPC in your server rather than assuming every guide uses the same name.

Windy Peak and the bear area
- Krue: By the Windy Peak gate; listed for first quests.
- Kona: Outside a house on the main path; listed for the Book of Guidance.
- Raze: Inside the village; the map guide lists a katana shop.
- Tom: At the Mother Bear or bear clearing area; gives bear quests.
- Kuro: A night merchant near Mother Bear. This is separate from the wandering Black Marketer.
- Wagwan: At the waterfall below the bear area; listed for level 40–75 quests.
A separate community locations database gives a different early-game name set—Kuray, Ra, and Kazu—and says those names came from one walkthrough’s captions and are unverified. Do not treat that set as confirmation of Krue, Kona, and Raze, or merge the names as though they identify the same NPCs.

Hidden Mist, Mistfall Harbor, and nearby routes

- Ginzo: Near the shrine in Mistfall Harbor; buys loot and sells Metal Scraps and Silk Thread.
- Dock Master Sofen: At the Mistfall Harbor docks; handles the fishing permit.
- Fisherman Jeso: At the docks; sells rods.

- Iceveil Guard Shiro: Near the purple spawn crystal in Iceveil Settlement; listed for a level 100 supply quest.
- The Sisters: At the Final Selection trial gate.

How to navigate without relying on one map report
Windy Peak is the starter village. Community maps relate the wider route network to Bamboo Grove, Hidden Mist Village, Butterfly Estate, Final Selection Plains, Mistfall Harbor, and Iceveil Valley. Because the guides do not agree on every exact spot, use their landmark cues, then confirm the live map and NPC dialogue in your server. For a longer trip, unlock available shrines along the way; this is particularly useful when trainer routes require returning to a village after climbing, crossing water, or traveling into Iceveil.
