Make sure you are comparing the same card
A card name alone is not enough to make two listings comparable. Confirm the exact set or printing, language, foil or non-foil finish, and any special treatment. Then match the condition grade: a Played copy and a Near Mint copy are not equivalent prices for the same card.

TCGplayer distinguishes listing prices from Market Price, which it defines using recent completed sales, and from Most Recent Sale for the selected filters. Use completed-sale data to gauge context, then compare current listings for the exact version and condition you want. The useful comparison is the delivered price for the exact copy you want, weighed against the seller information and the platform’s protections.
