Raya and the Last Dragon also became available to all subscribers on June 4, after its Premier Access window. This is a historical calendar of the main U.S. releases; dates and library availability differed by region.
June’s major Disney+ releases
- June 4 — Raya and the Last Dragon: The animated feature moved into the standard Disney+ catalog for all subscribers after previously being offered through Premier Access. Us Again also arrived that day.
- June 9 — Loki: Marvel’s series premiered, with subsequent episodes scheduled weekly on Wednesdays during June.
- June 11 — Zenimation Season 2: The animated short-form series returned with a new season.
- June 18 — Luca: Pixar’s feature made its Disney+ debut at no additional charge to subscribers at the time.
- June 25 — The Mysterious Benedict Society and Wolfgang: The former premiered as a series; the latter was a documentary film.
These arrivals were not all the same kind of “new.” Loki and The Mysterious Benedict Society were series premieres, Zenimation was a returning series, and Raya and the Last Dragon was a transition from paid Premier Access to standard subscriber access.

What “new” meant in June 2021
Disney’s summer campaign emphasized weekly original episodes, a “New to Disney+” movie each week, family-oriented catalog programming and feature releases such as Raya and the Last Dragon and Luca. The label “new” therefore covered first-run premieres, new seasons and episodes, and titles newly included in the service’s standard catalog.

The schedule here is U.S.-focused. Disney has cautioned that library availability varies by region, so a title or date in this calendar should not be read as a worldwide listing. It also records the June 2021 release window, not what remains in the Disney+ catalog today.
