The Pokémon Company International describes the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown Booster Bundle as containing six booster packs from that expansion. That wording applies to the named Stellar Crown product; it is not a universal promise that every product called a Booster Bundle contains six packs.

Why the expansion matters
Cards are drawn from the expansion printed on the packs inside the box. A Stellar Crown bundle therefore produces Stellar Crown cards, not a mixture selected from the entire Scarlet & Violet series. Before buying, read the current official listing or the retailer’s sealed-product description and confirm:
- the exact expansion name;
- the number of booster packs;
- whether the item is a Booster Bundle or a different boxed product; and
- any stated promos, accessories or regional packaging differences.
Product availability and contents can change, so an older listing should not be treated as the specification for a newly released expansion.

Pokémon Support’s guidance for Scarlet & Violet-era booster packs gives a stated card mix. The support page describes ten cards per pack, plus an Energy card and one Pokémon TCG Live code card.

How many cards does a six-pack bundle represent?
Using the Stellar Crown example and the Scarlet & Violet pack description, six packs provide the following stated quantities before accounting for random duplication:

The final row should not be read as six different rare cards. Pack contents are randomly assembled, so duplicates can occur. The arithmetic describes pack positions, not the number of unique cards, the number of high-value cards or the number of special-rarity cards.
Are Pokémon TCG Booster Bundle pull rates published?
No numerical pull-rate percentages are provided by the official sources identified for this product question. There is no official percentage in those sources for pulling a rare, illustration rare, special illustration rare or a named card from a Booster Bundle.
What the official information does establish
- Each pack is randomly assembled.
- Scarlet & Violet packs have the stated ten-card composition, Energy card and code card.

Even a large opening sample would estimate a population rate rather than guarantee an individual buyer’s result. The official product information supports describing the pack contents and randomness, not assigning a precise chance to a chase card.
Does buying a bundle improve your odds?
It gives you more packs, so it gives you more opportunities to open cards from the expansion. It does not give those packs a special advantage. Pokémon Support says that packs placed in boxed products are the same packs sold individually and do not have a higher chance of yielding particular cards.
More attempts versus better odds
These are different ideas:
- More attempts: six packs create six openings instead of one.
- Better odds per pack: an increase in the chance that any individual pack contains a chosen card.
The official guidance supports the first statement, not the second. A bundle should not be described as seeded, mapped or engineered to contain a hit.

If a verified per-pack probability for a target card were available, the chance of seeing that card at least once in six independent packs could be modeled as 1 − (1 − p)6, where p is the per-pack probability. The required value of p is not published in the official information for this question, and the formula would not identify which card appears or account for product-specific evidence. It is therefore a mathematical explanation of what additional packs can mean, not a claim about Stellar Crown odds.

How to set realistic opening expectations
Expect a mix, not a guaranteed “hit”
The stated composition means you should expect common, uncommon, holographic and at least one Rare-or-higher position in each Scarlet & Violet-era pack. The exact identities are random. A bundle can contain cards you already own, several cards from the same character or type, and no particular chase card.
Separate rarity from desirability
“Rare or higher” is a production category. It does not measure market price, competitive usefulness, artwork preference or personal collectability. A card can satisfy the rarity statement without being the card you hoped to pull.
Do not treat online openings as guarantees
Opening videos show outcomes, not the full probability distribution. A dramatic opening may be selected because it is entertaining, while an ordinary bundle is less likely to be posted. Use such videos to see packaging and card order, not to infer an official rate.

A different sealed product may offer a promo or a larger number of packs, but that does not by itself change the odds of the individual booster packs inside it.
A practical checklist before you buy
- Read the full product name. Confirm the expansion, such as Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown, instead of relying on a generic “Booster Bundle” label.
- Verify the pack count. Use the current listing for that exact product. Do not transfer the six-pack specification to another expansion without evidence.
- Check what is and is not included. Look for explicit statements about promos, accessories, code cards and regional editions.
- Decide what you are buying for. A bundle can be a convenient way to open several packs from one set; it is not an odds-boosting product.
- Set a spending limit before opening. Because no official chase-card percentage is available, do not assume that buying another bundle will complete a specific collection.
- Keep sealed-product evidence. Retain the receipt and packaging if the contents do not match the listing or if a code card is missing.
Older Pokémon TCG expansions use different wording
Pokémon Support distinguishes pre-Scarlet & Violet packs from the newer listed distribution. For older expansions, the support guidance says a pack guarantees at least one holographic card rather than using the Scarlet & Violet-era ten-card distribution described above.
That distinction matters when reading old opening guides, storage labels or marketplace listings. Do not apply the Scarlet & Violet table to a pre-Scarlet & Violet pack, and do not assume that a historical guarantee describes a current expansion. Match the expectation to the era and the exact product.

How to judge a claim about “pull rates”
Use this quick test whenever a listing or post advertises unusually good odds:
- Is the expansion named? Rates cannot be transferred safely between sets.
- Is the product format named? A single pack, bundle, tin and collection box are not interchangeable descriptions.
- Is the sample transparent? Look for the number of packs, how they were selected and whether all results were recorded.
- Is the claim official? Pack-composition language from Pokémon Support is different from an unofficial percentage.
- Does the wording promise a specific card? The official information does not support that promise for a Booster Bundle.
If those questions cannot be answered, treat the number as an anecdotal estimate rather than a specification of the product.
Bottom line for buyers and collectors
The clearest documented example is the Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown Booster Bundle with six expansion-specific booster packs.
