Hideo Kojima has imagined using a trip to space to experience weightlessness—and then create a game designed for zero gravity. He joked that he would go for another purpose, “but I don’t have any other skills.” The remarks were hypothetical: no space trip or game announcement was reported.

What did Hideo Kojima say about going to space?

GamesRadar+ reports that Kojima discussed the idea on Koji10 episode 36. He said he would like to see Earth from above the atmosphere and experience weightlessness. He also joked that motion sickness might be a problem.

The conversation ranged across destinations including the Moon, Mars, Venus and the International Space Station. In one imagined scenario, Kojima mused about staying on the ISS for six months, returning to Earth to make a game, and then going back to space. That was a hypothetical, not a travel plan or space-agency proposal.

What kind of game did he imagine?

Kojima said, “I’d also like to make a game to play in zero gravity,” then explained, “You can turn upside down. So the controls would have to change.” The idea centers on how floating and changing orientation could make familiar movement and control assumptions behave differently.

Is Kojima making a zero-gravity game?

No such project was announced in the report. GamesRadar+ presents the zero-gravity game as an idea Kojima floated during the conversation, not a confirmed title, production, platform or release. The linked Koji10 episode 36 video is the source episode, but its accessible page does not provide a transcript or timestamp for these remarks, so the English quotes here are attributed as reproduced by GamesRadar+.
