Enlisted Gold is the game’s premium currency. You can use it for Silver, a Premium account, soldiers and weapons, soldier training, squad level-ups, the Elite Battle Pass, and the Golden Chest. The best use depends on what you want and, for the Battle Pass, whether you expect to finish it: no single purchase is established as the best choice for every player.
What can you buy with Enlisted Gold?

- Premium account: Buy recurring account benefits. This is separate from the Battle Pass.
- Soldiers and weaponry: Spend Gold on listed personnel and equipment.

- Elite Battle Pass: Pay for the premium Battle Pass tier.
- Golden Chest: Use Gold for a chance at squads, equipment, vehicles, or cosmetics, subject to the current chest pool.

How should you choose what to spend it on?
Start with the outcome you want rather than a universal “best buy” ranking. Official sources establish the purchase categories, but do not provide a current, complete comparison of their prices or value for different players.

- Want a season’s rewards? Consider the Elite Battle Pass only if you are likely to complete it; its stated Gold return depends on completion.
- Want a particular listed item? Check the live shop for the exact soldier, weapon, or squad offer before spending.
- Want a chance at a range of items? The Golden Chest is randomized. The cited announcement gives no numeric drop odds, so you cannot calculate an expected return from that information.
- Want faster squad or soldier progression? Training and squad level-ups are documented Gold uses; weigh the immediate progression against other purchases you value more.
Elite Battle Pass: price, return, and timing
Gaijin Support lists the Elite Battle Pass at 900 Gold and says that completing it returns 100 Gold more than its price. The return is conditional: it requires full completion, so it should not be treated as a guaranteed discount if you may stop playing or miss rewards.
The Battle Pass is not the same product as a Premium account. Gaijin Support explicitly says they are not tied to one another and offer different bonuses. See Gaijin Support’s Battle Pass guidance for the stated rules.

Gold reward unlocks are time- and progress-dependent
Support says Gold reward unlocking is unavailable at the start of a season and becomes available after a delay; unlock prices also rise as you progress. Seasonal mechanics can change, so check the current pass screen before spending Gold to unlock rewards. A 25 November 2024 format announcement also recorded the 900-Gold price and 100-Gold surplus for full completion under that format; that dated announcement is historical context, while the support page is the better current rules reference: Enlisted’s 2024 Battle Pass format announcement.

In an announcement dated 16 June 2026, Enlisted said the Golden Chest has a higher chance of yielding a squad than the Silver Chest. It may also contain event squads, premium squads removed from the stores and in-game shop, older event or Battle Pass weapons and vehicles, and cosmetics. The announcement does not publish numeric odds, so the chance of a particular item—and the chest’s expected value—cannot be calculated from it. Read the official Golden Chest announcement and check the current in-game chest details for the pool and terms in effect when you buy.

Because a chest is chance-based, it is a less certain route than buying a specific item that is directly offered. Its contents and availability may also change with updates. Do not assume that a particular removed squad or cosmetic is currently obtainable without checking the live chest information.

Before you spend Gold
- Set a goal. Decide whether you want account benefits, seasonal rewards, a specific item, progression, or a randomized chance at chest contents.
- Check the live offer. Confirm the item, price, region availability, and any seasonal or chest conditions in the game or official store.
- Account for completion. For the Elite Battle Pass, judge the stated surplus against whether you can finish the pass, not just its headline price.
- Separate certainty from chance. A directly listed item is identifiable before purchase; a chest outcome is not, and the cited announcement provides no numeric probability.
- Compare with what you would otherwise buy. Since official sources do not establish a universal value ranking across Gold uses, prioritize the option that matches your own play habits and preferences.
