Who can use Pixel Bluetooth diagnostics, and where is it?
Google lists Bluetooth diagnostics as available on Pixel 6 and newer, including Fold. Open Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth diagnostics. Menu names may vary by software version; if you do not see the option, try searching Settings for “Bluetooth diagnostics.”

The diagnostic tool is a way to investigate a Bluetooth issue, not a promise that the phone can resolve every problem. Google’s general Android troubleshooting steps also cover pairing and audio problems.
What information may be shared?
Review the sharing choices before submitting diagnostics. Google says shared device and Bluetooth diagnostics can include account information, IMEI, phone model, software version, a user session ID, and certain setting states.

If you select an accessory to troubleshoot, the submitted information may also include its type, brand and model; volume settings; connection tests for media audio, hands-free calling and hearing aid profile; and hardware status. An optional bug report may include a Bluetooth HCI snoop log and unencrypted accessory data.
Try these checks before or alongside diagnostics
- Turn Bluetooth off and back on.
- Confirm that the phone and accessory are paired and connected.
- Restart both devices.
If the phone cannot find or pair with an accessory
Put the accessory in pairing mode and check the available devices in Bluetooth settings. If no Fast Pair notification appears, look for the device in Settings instead. For Fast Pair setup, keep the phone within 0.5 m (1.6 ft) of the accessory, turn on Bluetooth and Location, and connect to Wi-Fi or a mobile network. Not every device can be found and automatically set up.

If the phone will not pair with a car
Remove the old pairing from both the phone and the car, refresh the car’s available-device list, and pair again. Clearing only one side can leave a stale connection entry on the other.

Open the connected device’s Bluetooth settings and check the relevant audio option. Enable Media audio for music or Phone audio for calls. A phone can be connected while one of these profiles is disabled.

Google lists some of its general Bluetooth troubleshooting steps for Android 8.0 and newer. If those steps do not work on a customized Android version, Google advises contacting the device manufacturer. Pixel Bluetooth diagnostics availability is a separate, narrower feature: Google lists it for Pixel 6 and newer, including Fold.
