If an ARC Raiders quest objective does not register, first confirm that the intended quest and exact step are active, then repeat the stated condition and check the quest tracker. If the counter still does not change, restart and update the game, check the latest notes for a fix to that specific quest, and contact official support if the problem persists. Quest bugs have been documented, but no single workaround applies to every objective.
Check the quest and the exact objective condition
- Open the quest menu and confirm the quest you mean to progress is active. Make sure the displayed step is the one you are attempting.
- Read the whole objective, including any named location, required item or target, interaction, and conditions such as completing multiple tasks in one round. A similar action may not satisfy the exact condition.
- Repeat the required action. For an interactable, remain at the prompt until the interaction finishes. For an item, collection, or elimination objective, verify that you used the specified item or target.
- Open the map or quest tracker and check the progress counter. A world marker can remain visible or be confusing; use the tracked objective value to determine whether the step advanced.
If the objective’s wording requires completing a raid or a set of tasks in one round, meet that stated condition before judging the result. There is no universal requirement to extract for every quest.

Restart, update, and check for a quest-specific fix
Return to the lobby, restart the client, and install any available game update. Embark’s update instructions have told players to restart the client to download updates, and its patch notes have recorded fixes for particular quest progression problems. A historical fix is evidence that a bug existed in that version; it does not establish whether the same issue is present or resolved in your current build.

Search the latest official release notes for the quest name or a distinctive phrase from its objective. Objective failures have had different causes, so a fix for one quest or condition should not be assumed to cover another.

- Patch Notes 1.2.0, dated November 13, 2025, said Embark fixed an issue that prevented quests with multiple objectives or item collections from completing within one round. The notes also said the Greasing Her Palm objective in Spaceport was changed so that more thrusters would complete it.
- Riven Tides Patch Notes 1.26.0 listed a fix for Seeker Grenade eliminations not counting toward Safe Passage.
- Live Update 1.33.0 listed a fix for rare cases in which quest objectives activated out of order, making later steps appear early.
- Hotfix 1.7.2 described a fix for missing quest-item spawns that blocked Unexpected Initiative.
These notes are examples of specific fixes, not confirmation of the current status of your quest. If the latest notes do not identify your issue, support can assess the current case.
Report a quest that remains blocked
Use the official ARC Raiders Help Center and its ticket route. Its support categories include “Game progression”; the Help Center asks users to log in for help. In your report, include details that let support identify the exact failure:

- Quest name and the full text of the objective step.
- Platform and the date and approximate time it happened.
- Map and raid, plus the action you took and the item or target involved.
- What the tracker showed before and after the action.
- A screenshot or clip, if available.
This is practical information to include, not a published mandatory checklist. One player has reported that support completed bugged quests on their account after a ticket, but that is an anecdote—not a promised remedy or standard policy. Community suggestions such as trying the objective with another player are similarly unverified; treat them as optional experiments, not reliable fixes.
