Netflix Games are an extension of a Netflix membership, not a separate game subscription: Netflix described its mobile games as included with membership, and later announcements added TV play and a kids-and-family games space. What you can use depends on the game, device, profile, and rollout in your country. Netflix’s announcements are dated snapshots, not a guarantee that every title or feature is available to every subscriber today.
Are Netflix games included with your subscription?
In its November 2, 2021 announcement, Netflix said mobile games were included with a Netflix subscription, with no ads, additional fees, or in-app purchases. That describes the offer Netflix announced then; it is not a current, exhaustive catalog or compatibility list.

Netflix has since described games for TVs and a dedicated kids-and-family space as part of Netflix Games. Its June 10, 2026 Playground announcement said the space was included with all memberships and had no ads or in-game transactions, while noting that a global rollout was beginning. Availability of particular games and features may therefore vary by date and location.
How do mobile and TV games differ?
| Where you play | What Netflix described | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile | Games accessed through a Netflix profile on Android and iOS devices; some games could be played offline. | These details come from Netflix’s November 2021 announcement. It does not establish today’s full device compatibility or catalog. |
| TV | Select a game on the TV and use a phone as the controller. | Netflix announced party games for the 2025 holiday season and described TV games in 20 countries in a June 2026 announcement. The country list is a dated snapshot. |
| Kids and families | Netflix Playground, a dedicated space for kids’ games and experiences within Netflix Games. | Netflix said in June 2026 that its global rollout was beginning; that does not establish universal availability. |
Mobile games
The 2021 announcement described launching games through a Netflix profile on Android or iOS. Netflix said members could play on multiple mobile devices on the same account, subject to a device limit. The announcement did not give a number that should be treated as a current device limit.

TV games
Netflix’s October 9, 2025 announcement introduced a slate of party games planned for the holiday season. It said players select a game on the TV and use a phone as the controller. On June 4, 2026, Netflix announced FIFA World Cup: Launch Edition for June 11 and said TV games were then available in 20 countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, and Brazil. This is Netflix’s June 2026 availability statement, not a promise about later availability or every TV game.
The cited TV-game announcements describe phone-as-controller play; they do not establish a requirement to buy a separate controller. Whether you can play a particular title depends on its availability and supported setup.

Netflix Playground
Netflix’s June 2026 APAC announcement described Playground as a kids’ games and experiences space included with all memberships, without ads or in-game transactions, and said the rollout was beginning globally. It also announced that a collection of six KPop Demon Hunters minigames would join Playground on June 20, 2026. These are dated announcement details; they do not confirm that Playground or that collection is available in every country or account now.

Can everyone on your Netflix account play?
Netflix’s 2021 mobile-games announcement said games were not available on kids profiles. It also said that when an adult profile was protected by a PIN, the PIN would be required to log in and play. Those statements describe the mobile-game arrangements Netflix announced in 2021; they should not be assumed to cover every newer feature, including Playground.

Netflix’s general account guidance is that an account is intended for use by one household. Its February 2023 announcement described account access and device management, use on personal devices or logging in to a TV while traveling, and extra-member options for eligible plans in many countries. Those are general account terms, not a separately stated game-sharing policy. The announcement’s country examples and plan eligibility may change, so check Netflix’s current account information for your location.
Will saved games transfer if you move a profile?
Netflix says profile transfer preserves saved games along with personalized recommendations, viewing history, My List, and settings. Its profile-transfer guidance describes moving a profile to start a separate membership; Netflix’s announcement was updated on July 11, 2023 to allow transfer to an existing account. The statement supports retention of saved-game information associated with the profile. It does not guarantee that every game’s internal save state, external login, or other game-specific data will transfer.

Can you play Netflix games while traveling?
Netflix’s February 2023 account-sharing announcement said members could watch on personal devices or log into a TV while traveling. That supports travel use in the context of Netflix’s general account policy, but does not establish that every game works in every country or while offline. Game availability and device support can vary, and Netflix’s TV-game country list in its June 2026 announcement is only a snapshot.

What to check before launching a game
- Confirm that the title appears in Netflix Games for your profile and country; an announcement of a title or rollout does not mean it is available everywhere.
- For mobile play, check that your device and operating system are supported by the game. Netflix’s 2021 announcement is not a current compatibility matrix.
- For TV play, check Netflix’s current availability information and follow the on-screen instructions for pairing or using your phone as controller.
- If a child is using the account, distinguish the older mobile-profile restrictions from the newer Playground announcement; Netflix’s 2026 statement does not establish that every kids feature is universally available.
- If moving a profile, use Netflix’s profile-transfer process and understand that the saved-games statement does not promise transfer of every game-specific account or internal save.
