It uses direct trips through tunnels; the established Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) Loop connects convention-center halls, while the wider Vegas Loop name also covers active destinations and proposed expansions. The planned network is much larger than the service currently listed as active.
What the Las Vegas Loop is
The Boring Company defines Loop as an “all-electric, zero-emissions, high-speed underground public transportation system” that carries passengers to their destination “with no intermediate stops.” The company also describes it informally as “Teslas in Tunnels!” These are the operator’s descriptions of its system and vehicle operation.

In practical terms, passengers board electric vehicles at a station and travel through tunnels to another station. The direct-trip concept distinguishes Loop from a route that makes intermediate stops, but it does not by itself establish a journey time, fare, wait time or schedule for every origin and destination.

The established convention-center connection
The LVCC Loop connects the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall with its North, Central and South Halls. The Boring Company says the connection can reduce a cross-campus walk of about 45 minutes to approximately two minutes by Loop. That is the operator’s stated comparison for the convention-center campus, not a general travel-time guarantee.
The original LVCC project had 1.7 miles of tunnel and three stations; the operator says it expanded in 2024 to 2.1 miles and five stations. The company reports the original project cost at approximately $47 million under a firm-fixed-price contract. These project and performance figures are published by the operator, rather than independently measured figures.
The broader Vegas Loop network
Vegas Loop is also the name used for the wider network of tunnels and destinations beyond the convention center. The operator says Clark County and the City of Las Vegas approved 68 miles of tunnel and 123 stations. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority describes a planned network of more than 100 stations across more than 68 miles. Those figures describe approved or planned buildout, not the amount currently operating.

- High-quality Material: The car carpet fixing clip is made of high-quality plastic material with good strength and impact resistance. It is durable and wear-resistant, which can ensure that the fixing clip is not easily damaged or deformed during long-term use and has a long service life.
- Double-layer Twist Lock: The carpet fixing clip has a stronger fixing force. Through the double-layer locking mechanism, it can ensure that the car floor mat is more firmly fixed to the car floor, so that it will not slide or shift, effectively improving the passenger's riding experience and enhancing the driving experience.
- Compact Design: The compact and simple design of the car carpet fixing clip does not take up a lot of space in the car, and the appearance is beautiful, which does not affect the overall beauty of the car interior.
- Quick Installation: The installation and removal of the car carpet fixing clip are very easy, without the need for complex tools. Just install and fasten the upper and lower buckles to fix them firmly and not easily fall off. You can install them by yourself, saving time and effort.
- Wide Application: The package contains 4 floor mat fixing clips, which are enough to meet daily needs. Old or damaged accessories can be replaced at any time. It is suitable for various models such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, and RVs.
Which Vegas Loop stops are listed as active?
The Boring Company’s station page lists the following as active: LVCC South, West, Central, Central Plaza and Riviera; Resorts World; Encore; Westgate; Fontainebleau; Sahara; Airport T1; Airport T3; and Turnberry Towers. The same page labels Virgin and Hughes Center “Opening Soon.” That label is a current operator status, not a confirmed opening date. Check the operator’s Vegas Loop page for its latest station labels before planning a trip.
Harry Reid International Airport also describes Loop rides to and from the airport. Airport service and station status can change, so consult the airport’s official information as well as the operator’s map when arranging airport travel.
What is planned, and what is not yet a current ride?
Approval, construction work or an “Opening Soon” label does not mean a route is carrying passengers. For example, on January 28, 2026, the City of Las Vegas said it had issued the first permit for early work on a privately funded connection from the convention center toward downtown. The city relayed company estimates of potential future trips taking two to eight minutes and costing $5 to $12 depending on distance. Those are estimates for future service on that connector, not current downtown rides or a general fare schedule. See the city’s announcement.
Likewise, the 68-mile, 123-station and 100-plus-station descriptions refer to expansion scale. They should not be read as a map of operating coverage today. For a particular journey, verify that both endpoints are marked active and that the operator lists service for them.

Capacity and safety figures: what the sources say
The Boring Company reports peak throughput of more than 4,500 passengers per hour and more than 32,000 passengers per day for the LVCC Loop. These are operator-reported performance figures; they are not an independently verified measure of every route or current system-wide capacity.

Safety concerns have also drawn public scrutiny. The Associated Press reported on February 6, 2026, that Nevada lawmakers examined safety and environmental issues. AP reported 17 complaints filed with Nevada OSHA between 2020 and 2026 and an inspection that resulted in eight proposed citations. Complaints and proposed citations are procedural records, not proof that a violation was finally established; the available account does not establish the final disposition of those matters. How to check whether a Loop trip will work for you
- Confirm both stations. Check the operator’s live Vegas Loop map and distinguish “active” stops from “Opening Soon” or planned locations.
- Check the relevant destination’s guidance. For airport trips, review Harry Reid International Airport’s current Loop information in addition to the operator’s listing.
- Verify trip details directly. Do not assume that the convention-center travel-time comparison or estimates for a future downtown connector apply to another route. The sources cited here do not establish a complete current fare schedule, timetable, wait-time table or accessibility details for every station.
