Compare brightness figures carefully: a manufacturer specification and an independent measurement are not interchangeable. Resolution is another part of the picture, but it does not by itself tell you how bright or high-contrast the image will look in your room.

Check whether a model can run from a built-in battery or needs an outlet. Battery figures may be a manufacturer rating or a reviewer measurement under a specific test mode, and real playback can vary with brightness settings.

How to interpret battery claims
RTINGS’ 2026 portable guide reports a 185 Wh battery for one model, with playback rated at up to five hours in Eco mode. RTINGS measured 132 minutes of playback at maximum brightness for that model. The five-hour figure is a rating, while the 132-minute figure is a reviewer measurement under the stated mode; neither should be generalized to other projectors or settings.

Do you need a portable projector screen?
A screen is optional. If you already have a suitable projection surface, you may not need one. Consider a portable screen if you lack an appropriate wall or fixed surface, but the available comparisons do not establish that every buyer needs a screen or identify a best screen to pair with these projectors.
