If your statement says “Roku for CBS Interactive,” Roku identifies the charge as a Paramount+ subscription billed through Roku. CBS Interactive is also the developer name on Roku’s Paramount+ app listing. The descriptor alone does not show which Roku account, plan, or transaction is involved, so confirm it in your Roku purchase history before deciding what to do.
What does “Roku for CBS Interactive” mean?
Roku’s support page identifies the exact descriptor “Roku for CBS Interactive” as Paramount+. In this context, CBS Interactive is the billing or app-developer name, while Paramount+ is the service you recognize as a viewer. Roku’s Channel Store listing for the Paramount+ app also names CBS Interactive as its developer. Roku Support · Roku Channel Store

Use the full wording on the statement as a clue, not as proof of which account or purchase made the charge. Verify the invoice in the Roku account that may have been used.
How to check whether Roku billed you
- Sign in at my.roku.com.
- Open Purchase history and invoices.
- Inspect the invoice and its product or content details for the charge.
Roku says charges it processes may appear as “Roku,” “Roku for ___,” or “The Roku Channel.” A subscription purchased directly from a service provider will not appear in Roku purchase history. If the charge is missing, check any other Roku accounts used by people in your household or on your devices. How to stop future Roku billing
If the subscription is listed under the Roku account you use, you can turn off its renewal from the Roku device:
- Highlight the Paramount+ app on the Roku home screen.
- Press the Star button on the remote.
- Select Manage subscription.
- Choose Turn off auto-renew.
Roku says access continues until the end of the current billing cycle. This stops future renewal through Roku; it does not mean the current paid period ends immediately. Roku Support

If the charge still does not make sense
- It appears in Roku purchase history: Review the invoice and subscription details, then manage the renewal through Roku if you do not want it to continue.
- It does not appear: Check other Roku accounts in your household. If the charge is directly from Paramount+ and does not include Roku, contact Paramount+ for billing help; provider-billed subscriptions are not managed in Roku purchase history.
- The amount is $1.00: Roku says this may be a temporary card-validation authorization hold that is refunded. It is a separate possibility from a recurring Paramount+ subscription.
For shared Roku devices, Roku recommends setting a PIN for subscriptions and purchases to help prevent accidental purchases. Roku Support
