There is no objectively established “best” Google Pixel: it depends on whether you value the camera, price, battery, size, software features or long-term support most. Vote for the Pixel you think deserves the title, and tell us what makes it your pick. The poll results are not yet available, so no model can be named the winner.
What does “best Pixel” mean to you?
An all-time favorite is different from the best Pixel to buy today. A phone might win on the camera or value, while another stands out for its design, compact size or useful features. There is no shared scoring system here, so the most meaningful poll vote is the model that best fits your own priorities.

- Camera: Consider image quality, low-light performance, ultrawide and telephoto options, and whether computational features matter to you.
- Value: Weigh the price you paid—or would pay—against the features you actually use. A launch price is not the same as today’s street price.
- Battery: Think about your everyday experience, and distinguish that from a manufacturer’s estimate or a controlled test.
- Support: Consider how long the phone receives operating-system and security updates.
- Size and form factor: Compact phones, larger XL models and foldables suit different hands and habits.
- Software and AI: Some voters may prefer a familiar experience; others may value newer AI features.
If the poll lets you add a comment, name the model and the reason you chose it. That makes a vote easier to understand than a bare claim that one generation is “best.”

How Pixel’s generations give voters different reasons to choose
The original Pixel and Pixel XL established the line
Google says Pixel and Pixel XL debuted on October 4, 2016. In its retrospective, Google quoted CEO Sundar Pichai describing the vision: “No matter where you are, or what you’re doing, you can have the best of Google by your side.” That origin may matter to voters who remember the first phones as the start of the Pixel identity, but being first does not automatically make a generation the best.
#1 Best Overall
- Attention-grabbing design meets the latest evolution of the Google Pixel Camera on the new Google Pixel 11 Pro; Gemini Intelligence helps manage details so you can live in the moment[1]; and the phone is available in two sizes
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan: Works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers[2]
- Stay informed without looking at your screen: When your phone is face down, Pixel HiLight gently alerts you with subtle glowing lights when your favorite contacts are calling or you’re talking with Gemini; exclusive to Google Pixel 11 Pro phones
- Magic Capture catches the moment as you live it: With just one tap, Pixel 11 Pro captures video and photos, and automatically edits, crops, and unblurs a curated collection, ready to share – and you get the memory of how it felt to be in the moment
- Two new cameras for more brilliant photos: A larger telephoto sensor captures 30% more light for clear, beautiful photos and videos, even in the dark[3]; Pixel’s longest zoom ever helps you capture details from impressive distances[4]
Pixel 6 marked a product and design shift
Google identifies Pixel 6 as a turning point: it brought in the camera-bar design now associated with the line and introduced the Pro tier. That gives voters a clear milestone to consider, especially if the change in design or the arrival of a higher-tier model shaped their view of Pixel phones. It is a historical distinction, not proof of an all-time win.
Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 brought newer AI features and hardware
Google says the Pixel 9 series introduced its first phones with Gemini built in. In 2025, Google described Pixel 10 as the tenth generation and announced Tensor G5, built-in Qi2/Pixelsnap, a 5x telephoto camera on the standard Pixel 10, and Pro Res Zoom up to 100x on Pro models. These are Google-stated features; whether they make a phone better depends on what a voter values and uses.
Rank #2
- Google Pixel 10a is a durable, everyday phone with more[1]; snap brilliant photography on a simple, powerful camera, get 30+ hours out of a full charge[2], and do more with helpful AI like Gemini[3]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan; it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers
- Pixel 10a is sleek and durable, with a super smooth finish, scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 7i display, and IP68 water and dust protection[4]
- The Actua display with 3,000-nit peak brightness shows up clear as day, even in direct sunlight[5]
- Plan, create, and get more done with help from Gemini, your built-in AI assistant[3]; have it screen spam calls while you focus[6]; chat with Gemini to brainstorm your meal plan[7], or bring your ideas to life with Nano Banana[8]
What current support and availability say—and what they don’t
Google’s support policy gives Pixel 8 and later seven years of OS and security updates, counted from each phone’s first availability on the Google Store in the US. Google lists five years for Pixel 7 and Pixel 6 cohorts; Pixel 5a and earlier no longer receive Android version and security updates. The remaining support period therefore varies by model and its original US availability date. See Google’s Pixel update policy.
Google’s current US availability table lists Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold as available from August 2026. That establishes which family is listed as current in that market; it does not establish that the newest generation is the best in an all-time poll. Check Google’s Pixel availability table.
For a current buying decision rather than an all-time vote, TechRadar’s roundup calls Pixel 10 Pro its best overall Pixel in the lineup it covers, Pixel 10 Pro XL its camera pick and Pixel 10a its affordability pick. Those are that publication’s editorial judgments, not poll results or a controlled comparison of every Pixel ever made. Read TechRadar’s Pixel roundup.
Examples of how a voter might weigh the options
Choose by the feature you care about most
If telephoto reach is central to your vote, Google says the standard Pixel 10 has a dedicated 5x telephoto lens, while Pixel 10 Pro models offer Pro Res Zoom up to 100x. If long support matters more, compare the phone’s generation with Google’s update policy rather than assuming every Pixel gets the same period.

Put price and battery claims in context
Google announced the Pixel 9a at a US starting price of $499 in March 2025; that is a launch figure, not its current price. Google also estimated more than 30 hours of battery life under its stated conditions and up to 100 hours with Extreme Battery Saver. These are manufacturer claims, not independent comparative test results. A voter comparing value should use the price they actually paid and the battery experience they actually had.

Vote for your best Pixel
Choose the model you believe deserves the all-time title, then add the deciding factor if the poll supports comments: camera, value, battery, support, size, design, software or another reason. The poll is a way to capture readers’ preferences; until its results are available, there is no verified winner.
If you are choosing a phone to buy now, treat that as a separate question: compare the exact model, current price, availability and form factor rather than using an all-time poll as a buying recommendation. Google’s Pixel comparison page lists current models and their differences.
