It is a header component—not a complete website—and the page offers a preview and download. Colorlib lists the template under a CC BY 3.0 license, so check the license terms before reusing it.
What Website Menu V16 includes
The template is intended to supply a ready-made header section. Its described elements are a navigation menu, contact information, social icons, and a search bar. You can preview the template on Colorlib’s Website Menu V16 page before downloading it.

Because it is code for a site header, you will still need to build or provide the rest of the website and connect the header’s links, contact details, social destinations, and search behavior to your own site.
What the update note says about implementation
Colorlib’s page carries a “Updated September 2026” note stating that the snippet uses HTML and CSS plus a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, with no jQuery, Bootstrap files, or plugins. The page lists the download at 254 KB, down from 263 KB, and says the template can be used by itself or within Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects. These are publisher claims, not independently verified compatibility or runtime test results.
#1 Best Overall
- HTML CSS Design and Build Web Sites
- Comes with secure packaging
- It can be a gift option
Colorlib also says the collapsible sections and dropdowns work without Bootstrap JavaScript and that dropdowns support keyboard navigation. The page does not provide a detailed browser test matrix or establish screen-reader behavior or accessibility conformance, so check those requirements in your own implementation.

The page lists Colorlib as the author and CC BY 3.0 as the license. Review the applicable attribution terms before reuse, including whether and how attribution must be provided.
Rank #2
The page displays March 9, 2021 and names Rok Krivec, while a separate note says “Updated September 2026.” Treat the latter as the page’s update note, not the template’s original publication date. The page’s date information is not consistent enough to state a definitive original release year.
