A full reset removes locally saved settings, installed apps, account information and other saved data, so you will need to set up the TV again and sign back into apps. The exact items removed and menu path depend on the model, webOS version and reset option shown.
What changes when you reset an LG TV?
LG describes a reset as restoring the product to its initial settings. After a full reset, the TV restarts at the initial setup screen. Expect to reconnect or configure the TV, reinstall apps and sign in to app accounts again.

Personalized items may also be cleared. LG Spain lists tuned channels, recording schedules, custom input names, installed apps, saved Wi-Fi passwords and the default LG Store user as examples. Those examples come from a regional LG guide; the exact effect can vary by model and reset choice. LG Spain’s reset guidance

Some newer LG TVs offer a choice to reset everything or reset while keeping network settings. LG says this option is available on some models released in 2024 or later, including webOS 24/25 TVs. It is not universal: check the options displayed on your TV before confirming. Keeping network settings may spare you from reconnecting Wi-Fi, but does not mean apps, accounts or other personal settings will be retained. LG USA’s reset instructions

When might a reset help?
LG lists a malfunctioning Magic Remote, TV software errors, freezing, slow menu navigation and apps that fail to open or close unexpectedly as possible reasons to reset. It is a troubleshooting step, not a diagnosis or a guarantee: if the problem remains after setup, the underlying fault may need further support. LG’s troubleshooting guidance
